PC is the only way to play it! Console Sims games suck! My best friend's cousin used to make us play it with her. She also made us play pets. They suck when they're all seperate.

One time, my sim was having a party and she made burgers and stuff. She was going inside to throw away the piece of burger she hadn't eaten, then all of a sudden she dropped the plate, threw a fit and died in the middle of the party.

To this day I have no idea what happened. (:

It was Sims 1, and she had just been created and moved into a house. Died her first day.

It might have been a glitch.

I'm so excited, but sad that it probably won't work on XP . . . which means that I'll have to upgrade . . . which I hear people aren't having success with.

^ lol, my best friend's sims 1 game developed a glitch. Apparently a lot people with Sims 1 experienced this after awhile. Whenever you would play any house in the game, the entire family would come down to the street, and just walk from one point to another. They would do anything you told them. They would just stand there and piss themselves every few hours. Then eventually die of hunger. Any of the sims that walked past randomly did the same thing. It was quite frusterating.

why wouldn`t it work on XP? Confused It has always worked for me. I think.
but I have to say that sims has always been complicated to install.

The Sims 3 will probably only work of Vista.

Ooh . . . maybe is won't require Vista. Apparently The Sims 2 didn't require XP.

I'm surprised I didn't find this thread before, haha. That's what I get for never going in the Video Games section. : x

Anyway, I'm a total Sims addict. When I'm not doing something online I can play it for like, five hours straight. I recently lost my game, which sucks, but I have tons of fun. I have all of the expansion packs except a few of the stuff packs and University.

I'm a Sims geek, pretty much. :] Where's therapy?! Very Happy
