Constance, Lucinda, and Arthur Spiderwick arrived at there new home, a mansion in Springfield New York, Arthur had just had it built there was a high iron fence that surrounded the beautiful grounds of the estate and the gates at the entrance to driveway had the name Spiderwick bent into the iron gates on the grounds there was a small green house and a Carriage house.
Arthur parked the car and got out with his wife and little daughter. "Well here we are at last, I must say the builders did a lovely Job." he said as he adjusted his wire rimmed glasses. He walked up to the front door of the new home and put the key in the keyhole and turned it the lock made a pop noise and the door opened. He stood aside allowed Constance his wife and Lucinda his daughter inside once they were inside he walked in after them and shut the door and hung there coats on a coat rack.htey all stopped as they heard something skuttle through the walls. "This house is brand new I do not understand why there should be a mouse in the walls."
he said.
Everything had already been moved into the house everything looked perfect, Arthur walked up to his Private study that he had built for himself, he knew that it was a house brownie in the walls he just did not want to say the truth around Constance because she did not believe him and did not wish for him to say such things around Lucinda. Arthur sat down and looked around his study and smiled to himself, "This will be the perfect place to study." he said to himself
He walked back downstairs and looked at Constance and Lucinda "So how do you like the house?" he said as he sat down with a smile.
