SEMI-FREEFORM IRC RPG

It's been ten years since Voldemort was vanquished. In the present day world, wizards and witches are still weaving magic. And their children continue to go to schools around the world, to cast spells, brew potions, handle hippogriffs and... of course, play quidditch.

One of those schools is FenDragon Castle.

Nearly as old as the Irish soil she's built on, FenDragon Castle is ripe with magic and history. Between classes, field trips and competitions, a young witch or wizard could find the time to explore FenDragon, and discover her secrets. The portraits whisper. The ghosts show the way. All you have to do is enroll.

I just started playing there the other day. It's definitely different from the forum-based RPGs, but I like it. The game-mechanics are also better for actually casting spells, or dueling, than the loose honor system we have here ("You block every spell!" "You can't dodge that much!" "You could never pull that off in time!" etc. etc.)

It's pretty cool, you guys should check it out.

If you run windows, download mIRC at http://www.mirc.com, once that's downloaded type in /server irc.sorcery.net

Then type in..... /join #FD*OOC to go to the room.

If you need anymore help just PM me.. It confused me also.. but now I know how.
