yeah harry had that feeling he was being "x rayed". thats why when he looked away he said guilty until proven innocent Severus.

but no...in the movie he completely went psycho.

This Dumbledor lack that twinkel in the eye. He is grey and need to be white. His beard is to short. His clothes look dull...

in GoF he attacked Harry! I was like WOTT!?! but thats is probably the fault of the director on the screen writer rather than the actors.

I've seen Michael Gambon in another movie, Dancing at Lughnasa, and his acting in that would work perfectly for dumbledore. But sadly he plays a groovy attacker instead Rolling Eyes

richard harris was undeniably the best dumbledore there ever was.
however, i think that michael gambon did a great job of replacing him.
sure, richard was definately better (no question), but i like both.
i don't despise one of them or anything. they're both talented actors.
i just feel that richard harris embodied everything dumbledore needed within the first two films.
no matter who is replaced, it's normally always the case of "oh, bring him/her back, he/she was better!"
so, to sum up, they're both great.. but richard was definately the best.

It's same with Flitwick. Old Flitwick and Dumbledore are way better than these new ones.

That's what I thought the new Dumbledore didn't even come close to looking like the other one.

Old Dumbledore

New Dumbledore

The old Dumbledore was my favourite, even tho the new one is still amazing. But could you seriously imagine the old Dumbledore fighting in OoTP? He looked so weak and fraile, and the new Dumbledore doesnt.

Still love the first one thoXD

Yeah, coz they switched actors. I think the old one was better. I think this one is more intimidating, and I just can't find any humour in him if he makes any jokes... BRING BACK THE OLD DUMBLYDORR! And his accent doesnt fit... I dunno why...

I like Michael Gambon as Dumbledore..i don't really see a difference between Richard Harris or Michael, maybe only their voices and their faces..but overall Richard was a fantastic Dumbledore..as well as Michael.

I think its because of the director for GOF + David Yates, because in the 3rd film Gambon was fine.
