I was thinking about this last night while I was talking with my friends and we all agreed that Microsoft was better. So I thought to myself, what a better place to post this but PotterForums. So what do you think?
I personally grew up with Microsoft and have grown to love and adore it. I've never owned a Mac before, and if I ever were to I'd be a little skeptical. The only thing I love that are made by Apple are their iPods. I absolutely adore iPods, and my own iPod.

Apple is gaining, but Microsoft overall is a bigger corporation.

I have a PC (Microsoft) but will be switching to MAC soon.
I think there may be some confusion though... as many Microsoft programs still run on Apple computers... just not the operating system.

Apple.
I was a hardcore PC user for over ten years before I switched to the Mac. I had some extra money in my account so I just decided to order a MacBook from their website. I had no experience at all with the Mac. It was a little awkward at first, but I got used to it.
It's been a year.
I will never go back to the PC! I love my MacBook so much. It's my baby, haha.

I've seen macs and they look good but I'm sorry to say I have to stick with my dear XP. It's the last OS they made that will ever be good so I'm sure apple will eventually take over.

I remember using macs at school...and they always confused the heck out of me. I just can't make sense of how its organized. but microsoft makes sense and I find it a lot easier to use.

I grew up with apple and switched to microsoft. I've used Apple since then, and I'm still happy I switched.

when apple lets you play games and be able to upgrade and not be so limited to one company apple will be better then microsoft

You can play games on Apple computers, just run Windows using Boot Camp, VMWare, VirtualPC.. 
And there are games for the Mac, too.

I've always loved Apple. My dad is collecting them (a bit weird, yeah) so I had my first when I was 6 years old. Since then I've been an Apple-fan. ^^
No I've a black MacBook, adorable. I hate PCs, btw. I really HATE them.

I voted Microsoft, even though I despise the company with a passion.
it's just that i'm not used to Mac, think it has too much graphic mess to my liking, has a huge incompatibility issue, and i don't like the idea of being apple dependent for my hardware.
Right now I have XP SP2, I customized it to my liking, and I like the way it is.
but there is one wish i have..
That Google creates their own OS..

i think i heard of some beta they made.. not sure if it's true..
hmm, checked online, there's lots of speculation about it.. but nothing from google itself.. but yeah, they are building some sort of online os, with shiloads of programs and online storage space.

I personally think Apple is doing better at this point with Mac OS X. They have made something that is much more stable then Vista, and if Microsoft keeps up the way they are heading Apple may over come them and bring them down.

I was educated as an photographer in college, and we only had Mac computers where we worked. But I have never experienced as much trouble as I did with Mac, working with sound, editing photos etc. It screwed up way to often to my liking.
So for now I say Microsoft. Never had any actual trouble with it.

yes agree... well for the mac user thay can also have the ability to switch to Microsoft which is a quite a cool thing
