while reading DH we find out that harry's cloak is actualy one of the deathly hallows right. well in other books it mentions that mad eye has an invisibility cloak, and from what i read, mad eye's hasn't faded or any thing. so does mad eye have another hallow (though i know this is impossible)? _________________ BM #8

Mad-Eye's cloak is probably the second - woven from Demiguise hair. In any case, Xenp says that it fades "with the years"; it could take 10 or 20 years or more, he doesn't specify how long it usually lasts. We only see Moody's cloak in book 4 and 5, so for as much as we know, he could of just bought it before book 4 and it's only been around for two years. _________________ "I can make things move without touching them. Mad-Eye's cloak is probably the second - woven from Demiguise hair. In any case, Xenp says that it fades "with the years"; it could take 10 or 20 years or more, he doesn't specify how long it usually lasts. We only see Moody's cloak in book 4 and 5, so for as much as we know, he could of just bought it before book 4 and it's only been around for two years.
The second would NOT be demiguise hair.. it would be a bedazzling hex. But if it had a disillusion charm or bedazzling hex if it was done REALLY well by, say, dumbledore, wouldn't it likely last a long time?

Not necessarily. There's only three Hallows of lore. Dumbledore surmised that the Peverell brothers were likely just exceptionally skilled wizards that created the objects. Who's to say an exceptionally skilled wizard(or witch) couldn't create another cloak?

I counted Disillusionment Charm/Bedazzling Hex as one. In any case, Moody's cloak is described as "silvery", so it's probably not a travelling cloak, whilst Demiguises are "covered with long, fine, silky, silvery hair" (Fantastic Beasts) so thats probably what it is. _________________ "I can make things move without touching them.
