Try removing the gadgets, and the short cuts on the task bar, I have never experienced this issue before.

what do you mean short cuts? the gadges have been there since I've been on the comp, and there was never a problem before. so I don't think thats it. lock taskbar is checked...what does that mean? could that be it?

lol thats a normal function...pops them all up so you can pick what you want. but twice now my task bar has just spazzed...and I can't click anything I want on it and it keeps moving things around and flashing at me. all I can do is force a shut down. stupid vista.

lol my friend told me what to do. I had to unlock the taskbar and then drag stuff to the correct positions and lock it again. It looks right now, but I've yet to see if that stops the spazzing lol.

Ok so I have a new problem now lol. I was typing merrily on my keyboard, apparently had issues and put in a command to reset my...I don't even remember what it was called. but now all my windows come up with a boring and ugly grey color. I had had it set to a lovely blue. I can not remember how I did it in the first place, except that it seemed the easiest and most obvious thing in the world. but apparently not because for the life of me I can't remember how to change it. I REALLY don't want to look at windows like that Sad

Anyone know how to change it?

I think this a problem with your aero glass feature, somehow it got disabled and since i'm not a vista user i don't know how to enable it .Try searching it google on how to enable it.

lol yeah I did research and it told me how to turn it on but it would never stick. I'd set it but it wouldn't work anyway. but I rebooted my computer and it came back on, so all is good. mischeif managed!
