I know it will be on stage in New York but I don't think I can get a visa to US. It seems very hard for any unmarried young lady without any valuable asset to get a visa from the embassy. It's so unfair!!!!!!!!!!
But I can go to Toronto and stay for the whole summer holidays.

BTW, is there any wbshop in Toronto? I hope I can buy some Harry Potter toys or stuff there.

I wasn't aware you needed a visa to come visit the United States, I thought you only needed a passport.

As far as I'm aware Equus has no plans to travel to Toronto.

I don't know offhand if there is a WB shop in Toronto, but If you want I can pm you the WB shop link.

Wow! I'm so surprised that you guys really don't know how US gov treat people of other countries.
Well, I know there aren't any problems for men in my hometown. But for single girls without any houses, apartments, shops or companies of their own, visiting US? No way!!!!!
I think I can never visit Harry Potter Theme Park unless I can get myself a husband. This is sex discrimination!!!!!

You don't need a visa unless you plan on living or working here. If you are coming to visit here you only need a passport. If there is anything else you need besides a passport, including a husband, then that is your country's rules and not ours. To come here you only need a passport.

That's the most ridiculous thing I heard from a person. You totally mix up the meaning of visa and green card. I don't want a green card. I have no intention to live or work or even study in US. There are too many campus shootings there!

I have a passport to Canada, Australia, England and even many countries in Europe and Asia, but to US, I need a visa issued from the US embassy.

I wasn't aware anyone needed a visa if they planned on coming here for vacation. I thought a passport would be enough.

Here is the government website for visiting visas. It specifically states:

Additionally, certain citizens of Canada and Bermuda do not need a visa to visit the U.S.

So I guess that you are both right . . . in a way . . .
