i hate crickets

Seriously, they disturb me. I had one try to attack me once. It was not cool.

I like grasshoppers, but hate crickets. Dunno why. Little buggers freak me out.

It'd have, like, a bunch of eyes, and like, a left nostril. And it's missing a buttock, and even a few, ummmm, tentacles. Yeah...

This is slightly simple: If your worst fear is something which takes on the appearance of your worst fear, what do you imagine boggarts looking like? That's all there is to it.

Yeah. Wait, that is like a never ending cycle. If you fear boggarts, and they turn into what you fear, they they turn in to boggarts, but then, they wouldn't turn into a boggart, because they are already a boggart, so, then what?

Quite the contrary, usually, if there is no set image of something in one's mind, the mind will improvise and throw something together. Henceforth, what the mind has thrown together will appear as the boggart. I'd imagine if you were to try to think of a boggart's 'true' form you'd get some sort of image in your mind. Also, your mind is free to do this subconsciously too.

I'm afraid of heights.
And a zombie apocalypse.
And a lethal, uncurable virus that kills of the world's population.

So...what would my boggart look like? Confused

whooaaah! that makes heeps of sense...

but what if... you don't fear boggarts like you have this image and you fear what you see in that image... what if you just fear the CONCEPT of boggarts...

if ur greatest fear was boggarts there would have to be a reason you feared them. you'd probably fear them because you know they will turn into your greatest fear, which at first would be something different, and then because the boggart can turn into that thing, you would fear the boggart. so the boggart would still turn into the thing you feared before, but you would actually be fearing the boggart rather than the thing itself.
does that make sense or am i rambling like a crazy person?

That's exactly what I was thinking.
