I love this band, Im sad that Ronnie has quit though, dumb drugs ruin too many things :[

I don't really like them that much.
But "Situations" is hilarious. It used to be my jam.
I also like "Not Good Enough For Truth In Cliche" (I think that's what it's called)
The demo version though.
It kinda sucks that he's leaving. Have they announced who will be replacing him? Or is the band going to break up? |

Craig Mabbitt is replacing him, I've heard his voice & trust me he is no Ronnie. Im going to miss him terribly
"Situations" is a really good song.. I think "Friends & Alibis" is my favorite though

i've been listening since the album came out in like early 07.
It wasn't really just drugs that made Ronnie quit. He can't leave Nevada because he organized a fight that someone died in.
I'm glad he can't. Good singe. Big douche bag. So is the Drummer.
The only ones that where cool where the guitarists (one quite) and max. (bassist)

I Met him at Warped tour.
He forgot where he was, he was drunk at 11 in the morning and throughout the whole thing.
I went to hos booth and while signing my thing, he took it and threw it down the table.
when he came here a few months later he threw up on stage from a drug overdose and couldn't finish teh show.

They're working on a new album with their new singer Craig (formerly of Blessthefall)
I didn't like Bless the fall because they where really Christian based. But ETF is far from that.
here's my thoughts on it (from a bulletin i posted)

I loved them when Ronnie was the vocals.
I don't like vocalist change, to me you are a different band.
Same with From First To Last, Sonny Moore left, his voice was so unique to FFTL it doesn't even make sense.
So I liked Them When Ronnie was vocals, I don't know now...I may still check out the new stuff

No.
Many bands go through vocal changes. And they're still the same band. It's all just a name.

i hung out with Ronnie when i was in Vegas a few months ago. He's a real nice guy...but drugs and alcohol got the best of him. He's a good friend of mine now. He's been helping me out music-wise....but i still feel so bad about him getting arrested and all this. I hope he makes it out okay. he's a great guy.

I wasn't saying they have to, just to me it seems weird to keep a band name associated with a certain sound and vocal style when it changes. My personal opinion, I am not saying it should be mandatory..
