Getting worse.

And i THINK i know why. They are getting longer (books), and they can't make the movies extremely long. You know what that means they do? cut things out. And obviously, the bigger the book, the more gets cut out.

I can't believe anyone voted better. The only two books that stayed at least 80'ish% true to the books were SS and CoS. The rest have left out so many details that would make the movies much more fun to watch. I feel bad for people who only follow the series via the movies.

My best friend watches the movies with me, as only a true best friend would, and although she is incredibly intelligent, was an English major and loves movies... I still have to explain things to her, like who that random dude was in the beginning of GoF.

I put better, but it was really hard to choose.

the recent movies are getting better but getting worse. they all have diiferent things in them that others dont and they dont do somethings as well as others.

hard decision.

With the coming of HBP.. they have hit rock-bottom. This may be the first HP movie I don't see.

Rupert is also in Driving Lessons. I could just watch that again, but I'm sick of seeing the series get butchered, so no. I will NOT see it.

Better, there's no a lot more action in it and it's a little more grown up. They also stick to the books, which is important.

I like the first 2 because they capture the wonder of being at Hogwarts for the first time very well, but i think they get better.

Honestly, I think they're getting worse.

When I read the books, I had a perfect picture of what was giong on in my head. The movies were NOTHING like those pictures.

I will say that it IS hard work for the directors and actors to try and fit a whole book of wonderful stuff into a 3 hour movie.

But, the more they cut out, the less that makes sense in later movies. I was really mad wen they cut out the whole thing with Hermione and the elves in GoF.

And Sirius needs to be sexier. c(=

i gess ur right. the first movie were exactly as i imagined, but it got less exact as the movies progressed. they also leave a lot of parts out of the movies that were in the books.

yh sum ones alredy said it before buh i think it all depends on the director, like POA and COS had majority of the stoyline fitted in but OOTP was rushed i think, majority of its effort was spent on digital effects etc.

Unfortunately, they are getting worse and you can't deny it. The movies need to stay a lot closer to the books. I bet the only reason people are voting better is because of better and newer technology that make the movie look awesome.
