That's how I was too, cuz my teeth were really bad lol. I was the last person out of my friends to finish with the braces.

Wooden teeth make a man sexy . . .

I never had braces. My teeh came in prefectly straight. I get that gene from both sides of my family. Literally, not one person in my family has crooked teeth.

Nah, they're completely synthetic material. I actually don't know what it is. I'm getting permanent fake teeth in a few years though, and that'll be a really ugly operation.

Whoa...you're so young, though! Were you in an accident or something?

I'm getting braces later this month.

i prolly need braces, i haz ugly teef. Sad

but it'd only be cosmetic....

that's why i shall wait to go to the dentist again til my wisdom teeth grow in, maybe it'll mess up my lower jawline more and I'll have to have braces, for more than just cosmetic, cuz our insurance plan (state ftw) says we can get like free braces if it is medically necessary...

i had a plate for 1 or 2 years, braces for 1 or 2 years and now i'm on a retainer.
overall i think i prefered the braces to having to wear a retainer and plate all day, just coz you didn't have to take them out to eat. but now i only gotta wear my retainer at night. yay.

She requested to watch? Confused . . . weird . . .

I always felt bad for my friends with retainers for the mere fact that every body got grossed out whenever they would take their retainers out. I mean, it's not beautiful, but people can't help the fact that they wear retainers.

Besides, I'd rather have a friend who has to take her retainer out once every time she eats than a friend who feels the need to suck face with her boyfriend all day -- and most of the ones who were extremely verbal with their retainer disgust felt that need. Face sucking is so much more gross to see.

I had braces for two years, from fifth grade to seventh grade. I wore the retainers religiously in seventh grade and eighth grade, but once I hit high school I just didn't care anymore.

Now my teeth are getting crooked again! Sad I might have to get Invisalign.

Retainers aren't painful, they just keep your teeth in place since they're very sensitive to movement once your braces get removed. However, pray that you only have to wear retainers while you sleep. It was annoying when I had to take them out to eat.

lol, when my friends do that it doesn't bother me, just a couple of my other friends think it's gross, mainly the ones that are squimish.
