Maybe she's secretly a devil worshiper.

Harry and Satan do both contain the same number of letters.

Awww, now Mike is all disappointed. Laughing

Laura Mallory is certain that HP will make kids turn from their religion and learn witchcraft.
I don't have a problem with someone not agreeing with a book, but the fact that she hasn't read it because she believes God told her not to makes me further realize how dangerous some people are when they try to control our society based off of their personal religious beliefs.

I dont think Harry Potter has anything to do with being satanic. People are stupid when they say that. I mean I have read this book from elementary and on and I'm still a strong Christian. I dont know. I just that lady is stupid. Why try to ban a book or say that Harry Potter is satanic.

Supposedly practicing witchcraft is satanic and all that... but that would mean that magic would be real. And as much as we like to think that maybe our owls just got blown off course and that's why we never got our letters... the fact is magic, the kind in HP, isn't real. So for someone like Laura Mallory to say that children shouldn't read HP because it teaches children magic and witchcraft... basically say that she believes in magic, even to a small degree. Confused The whole thing is completely ironic.

I'm just kidding about that one thing... my owl completely got blown off course in a major storm and will be here any day now. I'm sure of it. *looks out the window hopefully*

But believing in magic/witchcraft is completely christian; remember the Witch Trials? I see no irony - just dogma and ignorance.

mhm witchcraft and preachings against it are in the Bible. just most people today don't pay attention to those parts. but the magic in hp is quite different...nobody goes out into the forest to commune with the beast or make a pact with the devil or drink blood or sign anything in blood or...its just not the same thing.

zen buddhism.
i took it up last year.
its all about being totally true to urself and following the natural course.
there's no such thing as morals. only love.
sort of reminds me of the time when we werent civilized yet.
of course, that doesnt mean its impossible to live alongside civilization...
but you shouldnt be too dependent on it for ur existence.
something like that

you just fell in love with my wit and charming personality

also real witchcraft has nothing to do with the devil because well the devil does not exist.

christianity made up the devil to keep followers in check. and therefore if you are a witch (something early christians were trying to convert to their religion) it becmes "evil" and of the devil.

ironically all of the christian holidays and rituals are a direct rip off from early celt festivals and rituals.

and that was to help convert the masses. part of the believe or die campaign that the church is famous for.

Zen buddhism is both the simplest and the most complicated religion at the same time. I mean, the concept seems simple. It's all a mind over matter thing. Applying the concept is so difficult, though.

Buddhism is cool, namely because it is one of the only religions that opts not to fly planes into buildings, persecute heretics, and directly attack education in every way shape or form.

ja.

its a matter of being truly spiritual. its easy to profess love for a god, and let their sacred scripture control ur life. but to be free and achieve true spirituality is difficult. and that is what buddhism is all about.

The religion I believe in is "everything yet nothing" otherwise known as "not caring". It's not to be confused with an atheist who does not believe in 'God'.

What I believe in consists of all religions. To accept knowledge from all angles will truly lead the way to becoming a God yourself or something of the sort. Either way, understanding is power. However, I will join many religions, but I will not consider myself part of them (or vice-versa if you wish).

Or, some can say that I truly do not care for the small trifles of life.
