this confuses me. if all muggleborns would have wizarding ancestors way back, then doesn't that defeat the point of the whole plot of DH?
in the 7th book the whole story is that voldemort takes over the ministry and is trying to get rid of muggleborns because they have "stolen" their magic. and then they try to make them prove they have wizarding ancestory. but if all muggleborns had wizarding ancestory then the death eaters would have to arguement!!
Remember though... It's JKR's world... Voldemort just lives in it
Old Voldy was obviously incorrect in that he thought muggle-borns stole their power.
He believed it though... that why he was so motivated.
Usually evil is slightly confused on what is really going on in the world anyway... ie... Saddam/Hitler/Jong Il... etc... _________________
