History: Amalthea was once a human girl who became friends with Kurama when he was assigned to watch over her by Koenma. She had latent spirit abilities that had the potential to become powerful and even dangerous and, as a result, was being stalked by a dark fire demon called Kamurou, who wanted to make use of the girl's powers himself.
Kurama and the girl spent every day together, becoming close friends. Their feelings for each other grew more and more every day, but they did not admit to one another that they were in love.
Eventually, Kamurou attacked Kurama and the girl one evening when they were out walking together. He wanted Kurama out of the way, so he could have the girl for himself. He launched a deadly flame blade at Kurama, hoping to finish him off. However, he underestimated the girl's spirit. She threw herself in front of Kurama and was struck down in his place.
Fueled by fury, Kurama transformed into his powerful Youko form and easily dispatched the dark fire demon, Kamurou. He ran to the girl's side and was horrified when he realized that she was dying.
Remembering an ancient technique, Youko Kurama made a desperate decision and gave the girl two choices: He could let her die or use a mystical and somewhat dangerous technique to transfer some of his demon energy to her, transforming her into a demon. The girl chose to live, accepting that she would have to forsake her human life and family.
And so Youko Kurama transferred a large portion of his demon energy to to the girl, transforming her completely. She was healed and imbued with a new power that took a pure form resembling a unicorn. Remembering the story of The Last Unicorn, which she had always loved, the girl gave her new form the name "Amalthea".
After that, Kurama began to train Amalthea to use her powers and even taught her to mask her demon features, making herself appear to be a white-haired, violet-eyed human girl.
And so the pair of soulmates move through the human and demon world, helping others and going on missions for Koenma. They also frequently team up with Yusuke and help him with his cases. ^_^
Note: The transfer of energy from one demon to another is not taken lightly as it binds the souls of the two together for eternity. Also, very few know about the technique. Kurama, however, is ancient, and knows many things that others do not. ^_^

History: Shiara's Story
Shiara was born from a human father and a demon mother. Shiara's father, Shinto, was originally from the demon exterminator village. He left the village at a young age and travelled the country, hiring himself out as a free-lance demon exterminator. He made a good living killing minor demons that were plaguing villages.
Then, one day, Shinto met Kayami. Kayami was a member of the panther demon tribe, and sister to Koura. Like her sister, Kayami was an ice cat demon. She was also incredibly beautiful, graceful, and compassionate.
Needless to say, Shinto was unable to slay Kayami. Her beauty entranced him and her compassion toward humans fascinated him. She, in turn, was curious about the handsome human warrior. They began to spend more and more time together and, eventually, fell in love.
When Kayami realized she was pregnant with the child of a human, she left her tribe, knowing she would be shunned. Shinto and Kayami lived together in a small house and were quite happy living there together, surrounded by an ancient forest. When their child was born, she was given the name Tsuki, and when she was only 8 years old, she lost both of her parents to human raiders.
Tsuki sought refuge with the humans of a nearby village. However, they shunned her, calling her "half-breed", and refusing to aid her. Finally, heart-broken and half-starved, Tsuki left to seek out the tribe of her mother. They, too, shunned her.
And, so Tsuki did the only thing she could to survive- she became a thief, stealing what she needed from various villages. She even took up with an old thief by the name of Kensuke, who taught her everything he knew before he died from excessive drinking.
When Tsuki was in her mid-twenties, still young for a half-demon, she met Naraku, the evil half-demon responsible for the death of Kikyo and the virtual imprisonment of Inuyasha. Young and naive, Tsuki believed Naraku's lies and began to aid him, becoming his personal thief. Eventually, Tsuki even fell in love with Naraku, and bore him a daughter- Kagura.
When Kagura was born, Tsuki had already decided to leave Naraku. She had come to realize Naraku's deceptive and evil nature and wanted her daughter to grow up far away from her treacherous father. However, Naraku had other plans. He took the baby from Tsuki and promised to give her back only if Tsuki would steal one last item for him. Concerned for her child, Tsuki agreed.
The item in question was the dreaded Armageddon Stone, which, legends told, could bring about great destruction. Naraku gave Tsuki directions to the cavern of the stone and she left on her errand, determined to finish quickly and return for her daughter.
Getting to the cavern was difficult, for it was surrounded for miles around by covetous demons, waiting for a chance at the stone, yet afraid to brave the dangers of the cavern. Only with her speed and fighting abilities was Tsuki able to survive several encounters with greedy demons.
The cavern itself was deadly, loaded with booby traps. Years of being an expert thief kept Tsuki alive until she reached the center, where the Armageddon Stone was housed. The stone, which resembled a large, oddly-shaped ruby, was perched atop a simple wooden platform. As Tsuki approached, a stentorian voice echoed in the cavern:
"Who disturbs my rest?"
Tsuki quickly realized that the voice emanated from the stone itself. "Tsuki," she answered simply.
"Do you crave the power of destruction?"
"Well... no."
"Then, why have you come?"
"To save my child."
".... Interesting...."
The stone began to glow, turning the entire cavern bloodred. Tsuki, frightened, began to back away.
"I have decided... you are the one."
"What???" Tsuki's heart raced in fear.
"You are the one...."
Taken over by fear, Tsuki raced for the exit, but was struck from behind by the stone, which quickly began to merge with her body. Crying out in fear and pain, Tsuki felt herself draining away, all of her memories gone...
"You are Tsuki no more. You are now Shiara."
Shiara awoke in the forest beyond the cavern with no memory of her former life or her daughter. The Armageddon Stone had chosen her to be its carrier, because it knew that she would never use it for evil. A side-effect of this merging was a complete loss of memory. And, so, Shiara, carrier of ultimate destruction, was born.
Soon after this incident, Shiara struck out to rediscover her lost past. For decades, she roamed feudal Japan. And, still, her memories were fogged. She was able to recall images, but nothing concrete.
Almost 50 years after Shiara's encounter with the Armageddon Stone, she stumbled across Inuyasha and his group of friends. She took up with them for awhile, feeling a kinship with Inuyasha, who was also a half-demon. And then, she met Sesshomaru.
Entranced with Inuyasha's handsome older brother, Shiara began to drop in on him from time to time. At first, Sesshomaru was annoyed with the cheerful half-demon, whom he considered beneath him. He looked down on her, much as he did his younger brother. However, when she proved to be invaluable in keeping Rin out of his hair, he allowed her to travel with them.
And so, Shiara roamed the countryside with Sesshomaru and company, protecting Rin as if she were her own child. Sesshomaru slowly began to warm up to Shiara, and even found himself caring for her. In fact, the depth of his feelings for a mere half-demon surprised him.
It wasn't long before Naraku took notice of Shiara, knowing instantly that she was Tsuki. He began to pay her visits, promising her tidbits of information about her past. Shiara, knowing all about Naraku from Inuyasha's tales, was fearful, but desperate to know more about herself.
Eventually, after several encounters with Naraku, Shiara's memory began to return. She remembered her parents, her childhood, her past relationship with Naraku, and... her daughter. Horrified that she had forgotten her own child, Shiara sought out Kagura. Kagura, however, didn't remember anything about her mother, because her memories had been carefully supressed by Naraku. In fact, Kagura believed she was merely an incarnation of Naraku. Believing Shiara's claims to be false, Kagura rejected her mother. Heartbroken, Shiara returned to Sesshomaru, promising to never give up trying to reach her daughter.
She went threw that dumbass well which lead her to Hogwardz and then began her studies.
Apperance: dressed in a beautiful blue and white hakama, which was given to her by Sesshomaru. Her delicate crystal necklace is special, also given to her by Sesshomaru. It holds the ability to summon Sesshomaru at any time if she merely holds it and speaks his name.

Hair: Jenn has straight, black hair.
Distinguishing Features: Her right eye is a slight darker green than her left eye. When she is irritated her eyes turn almost completely black. When she is in her animagus form (which is a wolf) she has a white streak on her tail. She also has a scar across her left eye in animagus form.
Wand: Her wand is Rosewood 14 1/4 inches with the hair of a unicorn's mane bedded in the core. A wand normally exceptional at charms, but this witch has a knack for DADA.
Skills: Jenn is great at charms and brilliant at DADA, she is practicing magic most wizards would not even attempt. She can also form a fully powered patronus which (when she concentrates) takes the form of a wolf. Jenn is also a parslemouth, which she inherited from her great grandfather. Jenn is brilliant with creatures, she's better interacting with them than she is with most people. This could be down to the fact that she spent most of her holidays and free time at the lake and in the forest. Most of the centaurs trust her as do the unicorns and other animals.
Weaknesses: She is good at most things but while at Hogwarts found History of Magic exceedingly boring and hated Divination as she was always cursed with the Grim yet nothing has happened...hmm?
Personality: Jenn is a good person, she does what she needs to. She's loyal when it comes to her friends and family (well most of them). She would die or kill for her friends. Of course if you get on the wrong side of her you more often than not would wish you'd never been born. She's quite intellectual.
Other: Jenn is pure-blood. Her father (Lucius) does not like how she acts towards "undesirable people" (mudbloods, for lack of a better word). She moves in with Severus and becomes more like his daughter than she ever was to Lucius. For this she is disowned and now has no real family.
Interests: DADA, charms, reading, swimming, having fun with her friends. She also loves going into the forest, where she has a great relationship with all of the creature inhabitants.

Personality : Kaitlynn is nice, smart and easy to get along with. Saying this, she enjoys the odd prank and loves mischief. She doesn't have many friends but those that she does have she would die for.
