Kaylee was 13 years old. Her mother had died when she was little and her dad was an alcoholic (sp?). Soon, police found out and she was forced to be taken and put into an orphanage, because she had no other family. The orphanage was filled with all kids younger than her and everyone said that her chances of being adopted were slim and none. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and was fairly tall and athletic.

Kaylee went and sat on her bed that was towards the end of the row. She pulled her book out and began reading.

Adam walked down the hall feeling his wand against his leg. he had just gotten his letter and he still had his dads wand. he had died 2 years ago and this was the first happy thing he had heard in a long time. adam had reached the bedroom and saw kaylee reading.

"how you doin' " he asked. he had never really noticed it before butshe was really pretty. he had known her for a while and thought he could tell her about getting into hogwarts

adam pulled out the folded up piece of parchment and handed it to her.
"dont make a big scene but......im a wizard" he addd in a whisper

he pulled out the wand and handed it to her secretly.
"it 13 inches, willow with a dragon heartstring core. try it out. it probably wont work but try saying Lumos" he said

adam jumped as the tip of the wand went alight.
"how did you...i mean are you a..." he studdered

Kaylee slipped on her sweater. She was waiting for Adam to meet up with her so that she could go to this Alley place he was talking about.
