Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed was the most hypocritical religious piece of propaganda I have seen in a long time. I encourage everyone to save your money and not fund this film.
Your thoughts if you have already seen it?

It's a documentary created by Ben Stein, it argues in favor of intelligent design. For the first third of the movie, it goes on trying to make it out that religious people are in the minority to the Darwinian atheists. When in all actuality it's the other way around. Evolution is not taught in most schools because of how powerful religion is on our society, which is amazing to me because it has no evidence while evolution and natural selection has tons. Then for about a half an hour of the movie, it goes on to say how Hitler was an atheist trying to encourage natural selection by exterminating those inferior to him, the Jews. Which is utterly ridiculous, Hitler was in fact a Catholic, hence why he was killing the Jews, they killed Christ. He may have thought he was helping natural selection but if you take action it voids the term: natural. Since he began a genocide, it makes it artificial selection. Then for the ending of the film he interviews some atheist Darwinian scientists, mainly Richard Dawkins, a biologist known for writing The God Delusion and teaching at Oxford University, and asks them to tell him how the first cell was created if it wasn't from intelligent design. After every question he asks he interrupts them before they have fully answered, leaving them mid thought and asks another question so they never get there point across. He then asks Dawkins if it is possible for the first cell to have been created by intelligent design, of coarse dawkins answers saying yes, but he meant if another species were to have done it, aliens or something that's unknown to us today. Not a supernatural omnipotent god, which Stein inferred. Then Stein concludes the documentary by saying how all the evolutionist's are afraid to speak out and goes on about god.
He manages to go through this whole 2 hour documentary without mentioning one shred of evidence from intelligent design, because there is none.

hm... i think i saw a video about this on youtube. is the guy who made it a bald guy with glasses? and at some point he said something about science leading to killing people?
from what you've said and from the video on youtube (if it was the same movie) i think ur right it does look like a waste of time.

Ya Ben Stein, he is bald and wears glasses. He does the clear eyes commercials and speaks in a monotone. Normally wears a nice tux with some tennis shoes.

That is ridiculous. What Hitler advocated was an extreme form of eugenics - trying to improve human genetics with human intervention. Eugenics takes a cue from selective breeding, not natural selection.

I'm aware of this, if you finished reading what I typed I cleared that up, unless you were elaborating on what I had to say. Ben Stein uses propaganda and false statements to try to rule out evolution.

It does, he misleads the audience into thinking all schools are currently being taught evolution and will not change their ways, no matter what evidence is shown. Schools should be teaching evolution, but unfortunately they can't because of religion.
