She only looks weird and dorky because of her magazine specs, radish earrings and butterbeer cork necklace. Strip away the silly neklace and riddiculous necklace and you have the average teeage girl. Her looks could be whatever JKR imagined and she herself said that Evanna Lynch is perfect. All we know from the books is that she has long dirty blonde hair. And in HBP.... stop reading this if you haven't read this book yet..... Harry even notices that she looks nice for Slughorn's Christmas party.

yeah but thats just it. in the pics of them on the set you can barily see the earings and
there isnt a necklace. im just saying that the movies have sorta sucked lately. the forth one missed like every vital part. where the hell was dobby and winky? |

I haven't seen all the OotP movie clips yet, but from what I have seen they do seem to be downplaying her dorkiness. I haven't seen the necklace yet, but there is a pcture released with her wearing the infamous earings.

she's not dorky, she's loopy. She seemed very loopy/spacy/loony durning the "I can see them too" clip I watched. Many people have said she does it perfectly, even that she was the best of the child actresses. were they supposed to turn her down because she was too pretty? That would be horrible.

What's funny is that on like that Entertainment Tonight they were showing clips of the OOTP movie and the narrator woman says "Can Luna steal Harry's attention away from Cho Chang?"
Like there is any kind of hints in the book or movie that Luna is going to be going after Harry... I don't know what she was talking about, apparently she hasn't read any of the books or seen any of the movies.

yes me too. i imagined a mini trelawney. i imagined soemone who looked more dorky. but they say that evanna lynch is good. so maybe we should see first the movie before saying that she doesnt fit our idea of what luna looks like.

From what I heard there actually is a bit of Harry/Luna in the movie. There was even a pciture released from the film of them holding hands. Most of it i'm sure is just fans reading into things... but still it is a bit unnerving.

Random, right? But I've given it a lot of thought (perhaps too much) and I really think they'd be good together. I don't think it will actually happen in canon, but it makes for some nice fanfiction.
