He could hear her thoughts, a connection he never had with anyone before he sent her a message through his mind, your not a freak, you and I are beautiful just as we are. then he walked outside and flew up to the opened window and smiled at her, and spoke to her with his thoughts 'lets go flying.' he said and winked.

She smiled and jumped out of the window. Her wings stretched wide and she felt like herself again. "Where do you want to go?" she asked, looking around for any signs of people.

"I know just the place." he said "Follow me." he flew up high into the sky he loved the freedom of being able to fly he flew towards a cave on a mountianside that overlooked the small town he landed in it and sat on the ledge and waited for her.

She blushed, "Thank you." she stuttered, "I can tell why you come up here. It's not like anyone is likely to run into you up here." she smiled, looking out at the distance.

"Yeah, me too. Just forget about all of the problems back there and stay up here." she sighed, remembering the look on her parents' faces as they were tortured and killed. She shook her head to get rid of the images. Not sure if she should ask she said softly, "So, how did they get a hold of you?" she asked quietly, referring to the scientists.

"Well when I was born 16 years ago my parents were payed by a company to give me to the company they took me to that dreaded place and what they did was terrible."he said softly "Im constantly on the run from them." he said.

"It's okay. It happened when I was three. I don't remember much about them." The night they died plays through my head like a nightmare though. she thought as she couldn't bring herself to say it. She continued thinking, They were tortured and killed in front of me, she paused, tears filling her eyes as she had flash backs of the night, The same men, with my parents' blood still on their hands then took me to the labs. she finished.

She looked down, ashamed "They already have. I killed them before I fled the laboratories." she said softly, more tears trickling down her cheek.
