I believe they're staying friends, although I dunno whats been up with Viktor...haven't heard much from him. He'll probably make an appreance in book 7.

Definitely. Hermione says she and Krum are pen-pals, and that's it. Ron and
Hermione will get together in book 7, and I'm not sure if Krum makes an appearance.

yes i have to agree..i think hermoine had fun with Viktor but her and ron are most definately meant to be. i really do hope they get together in the 7th book.

I don't think Vicky  will make an appearance in book seven, I personally think JKR was using him as a tool to kind of move things along on the Ron and Hermy front - oh and also the 3rd or rather 4th triwizard tournament. As for his friendship with Hermione well I think that there is a possibility it will cease to exist - I mean him being a slimy b****** if you will excuse the language ( I mean I know he was under the Imperious when he Crucioed Cedric but I think he must have had a little practice to begin with, afterall he was taught by a cowardly deatheater). It would be a conflict of interest or whatever - Him probably practicing the dar arts her fighting them not a very good combination.

I hope that Harry won't die that would just be . As for Lord V killing everyone no fear he still needs someone to comand, someone to inflate his ego, someone to oppress, someone to ... well you get the idea

| I think it would be interesting to have Viktor enter the picture in Book 7 when Hermione and Ron are a couple, and start up the whole jealous love triangle thing again. Or have Viktor and Ron have some sort of stand-off over Hermione. Interesting ideas, but I doubt they'd happen. :/ |

I do think that Viktor will be in book seven. I don't think however he will be involved with Hermione. I think that he will have a part of the end, possibly helping the order.

I agree. Viktor might help the Order in someway. Giants live somewhere in eastern Europe by Hagrid's description, so maybe Krum knows something about the giants' activities. But any further romance with Hermione is ruled out, I guess.

uhm... If the giants are somewhere near Bulgaria, they would not get to Britain in time - unless they have some very good transportation - preferably something that flys, floats or alows them to cross the ocean - I don't see them walking all the way it would present too much of a hazard - and for them to actually make it to Britain would take orginisation etc...
Not to meantion Madam Maxine and Hagrid actually tried to recruit them and it didn't work - and they are half giants, well at least Hagrid is - What would convince them to actually listen to Krum?
Also I stand by my opinion that Krum is not very nice and is mostly interested in self gain - ok maybe that's a bit extreme but I still DONT like him - Why woud he join the order unless it was absolutly to his advantage? Why would he risk his life to fight something that he believes in - I still think he practices the Dark Arts. Why would Krum do anything for Hermione who obviouslylikes Ron better? - maybe he still thinks that Harry and Hermione are an item poor sucker 
Uhm ... why am I rumbling on about Krum?

Well, what I meant was, he could report on giant activities in their own territory. Maybe how they get to Britain. They won't walk, but surely, don't you think Voldemort would have found a way to get them there magically? And maybe he could try to see what the Death Eaters' plan for the giants are.
But this is unlikely to happen, I'm just guessing.
