In fact J.K. Rowling copletely forgot aout poor Luna Lovegood at the end of the seventh book. She played a huge part in that book and then she is forgotton. 
I thing that she should have married Nevile Longbottom.'

lol, me and him are bad influences on each other...
I never saw Luna and neville as a compatible couple. They always seemed like friends to me, through and through.

I just never saw neville and Luna together. I actually kinda cringed at the end of HBP, when they sat together. My first thought was that, oh, how sweet, they're friends. But I couldn't shake a nagging feeling that they might end up together. I was actually really hoping JKr wouldnt do that, and I really didnt' think she would. Sure enough, she didn't. And I'm glad she didn't. It would have been too neat and tidy, imo, if they ended up together.
I think it's much hotter than Neville ended up with Hannah from Hufflepuff and living over the Leaky Cauldron. And I love that Luna spent her adulthood looking for those crazy creatures. She found someone who loved those creatures like she did. I think that's much sweeter than if her and Neville ended up together. I only ever saw her and neville as friends, nothing more.

idk...I'm not too fond of Neville/Hannah. I'm not like grrr but...it doesn't tickle my fancy. I like who luna ended up with though, and her name choices for kids, Lorcan and Lysander...I'll have to use those for cats.
but I thought luna and neville would be cute together, she'd help get him out of his box and he'd give her some grounding. Jo did say it that while writing DH she felt this pull between them, like there was potential there. but ultimately she decided not to do it. the pull is good enough for me.

NOT a good couple.
yes their both a little wierd and social outcasts, that doesn't mean their soulmates!!
just do not like that couple.

i like the idea of neville/hannah, because i've always liked her, she seems like a very nice girl doesnt she?
but neville/luna would be just too cute for words and i just dont really like the idea of luna marrying a guy we havent even met in the books
