Now here is the weird thing, everyone loves Harry and stuff and he is okay for a main but personaly i think he is a bit annoying at times. i don't understand why everyone loves him so much, could someone elaberate for me?

My favorites are:

1. Ginny Weasly(I'm a guy by the way.)
2. Blaise Zabini(I don't know....he just is. Probably cause he's a Slytherin....and is WAY cooler than Malfoy.)
3. Draco Malfoy(Well, lets see why. *Inside Draco's head.* Good...no, evil....no, good....no, evil..)
4. Severus Snape(Same as Draco)
5. Hermione Granger(Well.....dunno. But I like her better than annoying Harry and their dumb, stubborn red-headed best friend.)
6. Harper(For some reason he got tossed in here when I read HBP.)

Wait, forgot something........someone......Dumbydore! He goes to the top. And......Sirius! so....Dumby then Sirius, then my list.

My favorite character shift with time...but at the moment, my favorite is Draco. He's quite the enigma and I find him facinating. He's also one of the main characters in my fanfiction I'm writing so I've really picked his character apart. He's also very versatile (from a writer's point of view). You could have him being on the side of the good or evil...or neither...

I would probably have to say Sirius or Ron. Sirius has a passion for whatever he does and doesn't let a few rules stop him from doing it. Ron is loyal and does whatever Harry wants him to. He also has a passion that makes him angry but thats why i like him.

Harry Potter has always been my favorite character and it's always hard to explain, and really it shouldn't be.
He's so complex, so hurt, but so loved by so many around him and he doesn't take a 2nd look at trying to help any of them.
I love his bravery and loyalty when it come to his family and friends, and even to the defence of his parents when he didn't even know them.
Some people say that his downfall is his need to help people, but I don't see it like that at all. His a noble human being and as Dumbledore points out, it's his love for his friends that serprates him from Voldemort.
It's hard to say why I fell in love with his character straight away, but even when he annoyed me in OOTP, it didn't stop me from still loving his character.
