Bah, me too. It has to be either pouring or at least somewhere beyond sprinkling for me to enjoy it... when it is, though, I love rain.

I can't believe you've never seen snow, as well. It snows here for like, 4 months out of the year if not more. Surprised

'Rain is fairly well distributed throughout the year, with late winter/spring (February to March) the driest period and autumn/winter (October to January) the wettest.

The Lake District is England's wettest region, receiving and average of 130 inches (330 centimeters) of precipitation each year.'

some info for you

thats nice..in india there is place in east called cheerapunji(funny name)

i have never been there but there it rains like almost each day..actuallyy rains more than 300 days an year..

its one the places that recive the most rainfall in the world..

but then ofcourse that causes a lot of landslides and thus not many people visit that place..

ooo i really don't like rain. don't get me wrong sometimes it can be beautiful yes, but i hate cloudy rainy cold weather. just hate it. it gets my mood down. i am an easy cryer so almost always on days when it's cloudy or rainy i end up crying at some point because it puts me in such a bad mood.
i HATE winter. i wish there was some way it could be summer all year round.

Omg summer year round? If that happened I'd have a melt down.

The rain is a pain during the day mainly because I wear jeans that are too long and end up getting soaked up to the knees, but I love it when it rains at night

Oh . . . I love the rain like you wouldn't believe! I love to listen to it while curled up in bed with a good book. I love to walk in it. I love it to splash me through the open car window. It makes me feel alive like nothing else. It's weird how rain can do that for me.

Want to hear somethine funny. I really want to move to London after I get my bachelors. Seriously, every time I tell some one that, that person will mention that it rains a lot in London. It just so happens that I live in Western PA . . . Where. It. Always. Is. Raining! So, what's the point in pointing out the fact that it rains a lot in London? I'll tell you what, a lot of rain is a hell of a lot better than the other extreme. In Florida, we were constantly in a drought. It's horrible, because you're constantly being houded about you water usage. Then you feel guilty for taking a shower everyday.

brians mom was saying that she wasn't going to come over because it was raining and that confused me.

how does a dreary looking day stop someone from leaving their house? i love dreary days more than bright sunny ones. i love lightning storms and used to sit on the covered deck with my dad watching the lightning strike in this open field that we used to live by.

we would play chicken on how close was too close before i would run inside lol

but my point is... i love the rain also.. more so than sunny days. although too much does make me a bit depressed. maybe sparatically throw one sunny day in there .
