I realized for Hermione in the last book(I'm dumb a little), and for Ron in the fourth book when he wanted to dance with Hermy.

In the sixth when Mione is so mad at Ron and sad and she wants to invite him to Slughorn's party and all...

I never thought they'd end up together. But I realised something was there just before I really got into HP and started reading the books. It was when I was watching COS, and Hermione comes back at the end.. everyone is all "OMG HERMIONE ISZ LYK BAKSZ HARREH!!" and then she goes and hugs Harry and then there is this awkward thing between Ron and Hermione.

It was more of guess (it was in the movie too so it hardly counts xD) and I never thought they were going to end up together, but I like the way it turned out.

It became really obvious to me when I was reading HBP though. With the whole Slughorn's party thing.

I'm a little thick, so I guess I didn't really notice any chance of a relationship until Ron started getting jealous about Hermione hanging out so much with Krum in GoF. Then, when she yelled at him after the Yule Ball, that's when I went "Oh yes, definitely..."

i always had an inkling they liked each other,
but the biggest part for me was when Ron and Hermione where defending each other in the 7th book, when they got taken by the snatchers and also when Ron was crying out for her.
hahaha

there were other little bits but that was majorrrr!

I had the feeling that they were gunna get to gether in the start of the second movie, and by the end of the second movie it was just plainly obvious to me.
I was abit suprised that she waited until the very last book, and nearly at the end of it. I thought that it was gunna happen in the HBP but it didnt.

I think I realised from the 2nd film when she runs down the hall at the end & hugs Harry but not Hermione. My mam always had an incling from the 1st movie. I really didn't see it in the 1st couple of books coz I read them when I was real young!

I don't know... that one I didn't really see. They are always having a row, and, well, doesn't seem like it would work. But, now that I think about it, it actually might.

I realied it when, in the C.O.S Hermione returns from the hospital wing and runs and hugs Harry but then goes all sheepish and nervous when she turns to Ron. I think J.K. wanted us to realise Hermione was secure in a friendly relationship with Harry but I first felt the spark between Ron and Hermione at that moment. It was obvious they liked each other.

I thought there was always something there like JK was setting it up for us i.e the Troll incident because Ron had said something nasty about her.

In films it was shown in the 2nd one. However in the books it seem to start off mainly in POA

Ron and Hermione's relationship was realized in COS mostly.
The Slug Scene!
Ron: the Slug Scene or the Yule Ball. Not sure.
Hermione: when she met Ron, she was instantly drawn and started to fall for him.
