No, I don't think that's where she got the name.
There's a definition from Mugglenet:
Horcrux - In Latin, "crux" comes from the noun "crux." "Crucis" means "pain or torture," and "hor" is a shortened form of the noun "horreum," which means "storehouse." Thus, "tormenting storehouse." The English meaning for "crux" is "the critical feature or essence," like the crux of an argument. Similar to the Latin translation, it then becomes understood as "essence storehouse." Many consider the soul to be the essence of an individual.
Another source, has the following to say:
Like most of Rowling's pseudo-Latin terms, the word Horcrux is her own invention, but the concept behind it is not. Concealing one's soul in an external object to gain immortality has appeared in the mythology of many cultures and dates back thousands of years. Koschei the Deathless is the best known ancient practitioner, while the phylactery of a lich is a recent precedent based on the same older sources. However, most other versions of this idea do not utilize multiple containers, nor expect a part of the soul to remain in the original body.
Note: Koschei the Deathless is a character from Russian folklore.

True, Cedric and Fleur were complete opposites.
But don't they say that opposites attract?
Personally, I think that Cedric would have liked her because of her looks and her confidence. Also the mere fact that she was a champion, just like him. But, her bad attitude might have turned him off.

Fleur goes PERFECTLY with Viktor Krum, i mean they are both from different schools. And they are both famous and loved by their Headmaster and Headmistress. Viktor Krum being the best seeker and Fleur being the school vila. They suite eachother perfectly. I think they should go out in real life.

Fleur and Krum....now that is something I just cannot see. At all. Ever. Cedric and Fleur were from different schools, too. And the fact that they are both famous (? see below) doesn't have anything to do with how they go together- but I can see where you're coming from.
Fleur is a veela, and yes, that makes her more noticable than others, but it doesn't make her famous.
Krum and Fleur just isn't happening in canon, Fleur is with Bill, and that's that.

Cedric is from Hogwarts Fool. Anyways i don't know what you are tripping on. Can't you use your brain. If Fleur is beautiful and is liked by everybody, and so is Viktor since every girl likes him. Anyway i think FLEUR AND BILL(poor blood) Do NOT go togather. Pity it had to be like this. Poor Fleur.

wow..honestly, fleur and CEDRIC? sorry, but cedric is already taken...by his life long lover cho chang, it is so tragic their love had to be parted..but forever, cedric will be with cho. end of discussion
