hmm i have a feeling whatever it is wont be as good as harry potter.
i probably wont have the same feeling for it as i do HP. unless it ties in.

Why not just ignore it over all ? You guys complain about it yet start gossiping in the threads them selfs.

Actually, Why should this thread be locked ? It's a discussion about other books J.K. Rowling is writing. Maybe the person who bumped it wanted to discuss it without making another thread. I think this one can be unlocked but I am going to move it to the books area. This thread was made before the books area was added.

i have heard so many rumors about JK's new books.

i don't think there will be any new books for a long time.

and i do agree if you dont want new threads you cant lock the old ones Wink

i dont think i'll read anything that jo writes that isnt hp, i have a feeling by the way she writes, that it suited the hp story very well, but i dont think i'll like it in another book

If she writes another book, even if its a series, i will read at least one book. then i will decide if i like it. an author has many ways of writing, i think it will be interesting to see what she turns out.

First of all, sorry for bumping an old threard.

Secondly, I haven't heard anything, to be honest she's made enough money to keep her rich for life so I wouldn't be suprised if she does anything else, so unless she's as passionate as she makes out about writing (I'm sceptical) I think she'll just stop writing, live happily ever after, occasionally give to charity and carry on winning "Author of a million years" awards.

Well, regardless of weather or not the book is popular or not, she'll never have anything as big as the Harry Potter series again. She's no doubt got some permanent fans from those books, and alot of people are going to buy her next book just because they loved her Harry Potter series, and some may just recognize the 'J.K. Rowling' printed on the book
