I agree the curse was an amazing album
i dont own it because i dont really buy any cds..
but i have quite a few of the songs from that album on my beloved ipod

atreyu is AMAZING, tho i have to admit, they were better in their older days, --- suicide notes and butterfly kisses & the curse, but there still a fantastic band

Thats such a terrible classification to call them, whoever said that was out of their mind.
The Curse was Rock/Screamo/Emo. The lyrics put them under the 'emo' category.
But with the release of Lead Sails Paper Anchor, they became more mainstream and more involved in the 'hard-rock' genre

I saw them live once, it wasn't a full set or anything. They were with Korn and Evanescence on the Family Values Tour, so I saw them just before Ev. They were definately better than the other opening acts.
I can't remember much from when I saw them, I wasn't really into that sort of music at the time, but I did enjoy listening to them play "Ex and Oh's". Hearing that song live got me into them. It was really good.
The lead singer was shirtless, so that's a plus.
I'll try and find a video from it.

They're a decent band. the older stuff is harder than the newer stuff. they integrated a lot more singing. and took out a lot of melodic riffs.

If you like Falling Down, then you would probably like the rest of Lead Sails Paper Anchor.
Very similar songs throughout the album.
