lol i think it was the memory of the pain that made him grab his head, or maybe it was still hurting a bit

and about the decapitation, im sure that in the movies they see the axe fall down, the movie doesnt show it cause its a kids movie i think


They didn't see where the axe fell.

like i said, they dont show it in the movies (cause its too violent, i guess), but it shows the three of them watching it

No, their view is blocked my the fence and larger pumpkin. They do show us the axe fall, and it falls behind a larger pumpkin.

In the book, their backs are turned while they are under the cloak. They don't see it in the book or the movie.

yeh in the movie he never actually kills buckbeak. that's why when they're showing the future scenes they show the axe guy chopping the pumpkin, to show that before when he chopped the axe he wasn't actually killing buckbeak.

Before they did the Time-Turner, the Trio watched the guy as he executed Buckbeak. With that, three lives had a second chance at life.
