I used to be a fan...back in like 8th grade.
Then I realized they where garbage.

I love this band. My fave songs are My Immortal and Bring Me Back To Life. My Immortal really reminds me of New Moon.

Evanescence is my favorite band! I totally have a crush on Amy Lee.
(John isn't too far behind, either)
I have to say Imaginary is my favorite of their songs. It's also the way I live.

You should check out After Forever, in some ways they're quite similar to Nightwish.

Why? I think we all can different tastes. I've got friends who are hip hop fans and I can't stand that music, however I don't think we should judge people's musical tastes.

That's YOUR opinion.
But as a matter of fact, Amy Lee does have talent, otherwise Evanescence would not be where they are right now AND live shows are very decent. If you only checked them out at the first leg of The Open Door, then you missed a way better concert when Will Hunt and Troy McLawhorn joined the band for the last leg. And the Fallen tour was beyond good itself.
