I'm surprised OotP is leading the back. I've heard it described as the weakest/worst book by some, but I never understood why. It has the best new characters (Umbridge, Luna, Tonks, Kingsley, Dung etc), it had a "going to hell in a handbasket" feel, and they were doing it slowly, I love the anarchy after Fred and George leave...that being awesome in itself, and the end conflict senario was the best...it was the most chaotic and the others got to help more than before, and this time Harry wasn't quite a hero, which was an interesting change.

I love Goblet of Fire. I think my favorite part from the book (and the movie) is the Yule Ball. Also, it's just very exciting to read what with all the tasks and the return of Voldemort.

My favourite Harry Potter book, I'd have to say would be Order of the Phoenix.

I like them all of course but if I had to pick one I would pick Goblet of Fire, because it has the best storyline in it and is also probably the first of the really 'Dark books'

In order I'd sa:

1. Goblet of Fire (see above)
2. Prisoner of Azkaban (I hate the Time Turner bit at the end, if it wasn't for that it would be my fave)
3. Order of the Phoenix
4. Half-Blood Prince
5. Philospher's Stone
6. Chamber of Secrets

I think the 7th one will probably be the best though Razz

Half-Blood Prince was my favorite book. But before that, it was Goblet of Fire with Chamber of Secrets a close 2nd.
