A boggart takes the shape of your greatest fear as we all know.

So what do you think would happen if your greatest fear was boggarts?

What would it look like?

The only thing we have to fear is fear, itself.

I think it would change into somethng else, like a second choice. Because... if the biggest fear is fear, then it would have to change into something you feared... even if the thing you feared was fear.

I wonder if a boggart does look like something, but we don't know what it is because no one has feared it. Or, people have, but they don't talk about it or something along those lines.

The boggart itself probably is small and really not very scary looking, but it would probably show itself as something big and bad.

Maybe a boggart can only manifest a physical form in the presence of someone's fear.

This question has actually been posed before. I think that since no one knows what a boggart is, people would inevitabley make an images in their minds of what a boggart is. Boggarts always reminded me of the boogey man. When we were kids, our parents would tell us the boogey man was going to get us, but no one ever talked about what the boogey mans looked like. I always picture a huge guy made out of boogers -- kinda like a boogery swamp-thing.

A few years ago, I asked a bunch of people what they thought the boogey man looked like as children. I got everything from a huge shadow-like figure to a bloody zombie thing. Only one other person said she pictures a man made out of boogers -- my best friend! Wink

Anyway, the boggart would take the form of whatever it looks like in the person's imagination.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but what if a person's worst fear isn't something that a boggart can turn into?

lol I wonder if you had an irrational fear of a food...if you could just eat the boggart. or even someone sneaking up from behind whilst its food shaped (since you probably wouldn't eat something you're afraid of) how would that digest?

mmm. good question

i dont think it would. because remember. lol.
that you cant magically creat food. it defies laws.
so even though the boggart would be able to make its self look like food. it would be able to mimic the taste.

..i hope that sounds remotly right.

if ur greatest fear was boggarts there would have to be a reason you feared them. you'd probably fear them because you know they will turn into your greatest fear, which at first would be something different, and then because the boggart can turn into that thing, you would fear the boggart. so the boggart would still turn into the thing you feared before, but you would actually be fearing the boggart rather than the thing itself.
does that make sense or am i rambling like a crazy person?

Better yet, a mirror. <cringe>
