Draco placed an arm on her shoulder, subdued.

"Once he asked our house elf to spy on me, a-after he found your brown hair on my robes..he found us last weekend when we went to Hogsmeade." Draco paused, and quietly continued, "Summer's almost over, and I can last the final few weeks at an apartment I have near Diagon Alley."

Her eyes shone.

"I Thought I seen one following us. But I thought it was just one that was sent by someone to do their shopping." she frowned. "Are you sure you will be ok?" she then looked to the ground. "We should of been more careful and we should not be this close to the manor now. Oh I just thought of something did you make Head Boy?" Her eyes looking into his.

Draco fished a crumpled letter from his pocket and scanned it over.

"7th year, Slythern, blah blah..Head Boy."

Draco smiled and looked into Hermione's eyes.

"Did you?"

Draco's face considerably brightened.

"Alright Mrs. Know-It-All, do you have a copy of our supplies? I bet I can tap my bank account for that. Actually, I'm thinking about going to Diagon right now."

Ginny countined to walk away, as far as possible, from Cho and Harry. She didn't bother looking back so she didn't notice anything that was happening between Hermione and Draco.

Ginny went into the tree and then got her wand out, lazily waving around spells so the rocks blew up.

Draco didn't know what came over him. The thought of losing everything, and then finding true happiness again made him take a chance. He kissed Hermione.

Hermione seemed surprised for a minuet then started to kiss him back. After a minuet she pulled back.

"What was that for." she smiled. "And am I going to get to see your flat today?"

Draco began to walk, but spoke from the corner of his mouth.

"To far, yes. It is near Diagon, but across the English Channel. I suppose you could Apparate?"

Ginny sat there blowing rocks up for awhile until she finally got up and apperated to Diagon Alley.

Draco learned early in their relationship not to bother to hide anything from Hermione.

Draco laughed, part at the kindness of his girlfriend and partly because of the ridiculousness of the situation. Kicked out of his house, move into a lonely flat, and order ice cream.

"Ice cream sounds great!"

(Would fast forwarding a few hours to night be okay with you?)

It was dark in the small flat. They had left Hogsmeade late after a nice dinner and Hermione Apparated with him here before leaving.

The phone rang, and a smile touched Draco's lips as he answered.
