^ That statement sounded wrong. I meant it as I don't know whether it is just a theory I read or something the I created in my brain. I tend to concentrate my thought into incpmprehensible sentences. I know it's not a fact, or else I would have found it somewhere by now. I've been driving myself nuts looking for information on the procreation of house elves.

I don't think they'd allow house elf marriages, because house elfs are essentially slaves and no one mean enough to own a house elf would give property that kind of courtesy.
That theory sounds pretty good to me though. I mean, if the Malfoys could only breed the house elfs that they own and not buy any others, then it explains why they only had one house elf, instead of a house elf army. If they could buy a female they probably would, so they could breed her with Dobby and get dozens of free slaves to do all the work.

first i would like to point out that i completely agree with zenny, winky would suck as a mom.
and secondly, with every bit of respect and no offense, please use real words. it is sometimes ok to write silly but when the whole message is like that it is difficult to read. i am not trying to be a B* but it is very annoying reading posts everyday and people try to look illiterate.

Cant image Dobby had baby with Winky, instead of feeding her baby with milk, she uses Butterbeer.

but dont you get it. she was in so much pain and depression she turn to alcahol because it makes you escape reality and all its problems.

Yes, I know that. I knoew plenty of alcoholics. I also know what it's like have have pain and problems that are overwhelming. The point is that Winky chose the wrong way to excape her reality. She was not a competent decision-maker, and this fact proves that she would be a lousy mother.
