They don't need to leave it out just because Fleur isn't in this movie. George and Fleur could fall in love. We don't have to see it happen. They might have it mentioned in this film. I'm really hoping for the wedding, too. They may just make it a Lupin/Tonks wedding, though.

I'm ok with them not being in this film, but they do need to be mentioned somehow.
There is also no need to have DH split into 2 movies, what a waste. That would ruin it as far as I'm concered. It can very well fit into a 3 hr film.

but i guess Fleur, Bill should be in the DH film, at least in the scene of Harry moving to the Burrow, when Mad-Eye dies. how could that be shot without them?

in my opinion, i think fleur is needed in the film, ok the role is not huge but it adds to the books, Ron thinking that molly invites tonks to push fleur away makes it better, the thing is, the producers want to make this film into the Harry/Ginny show, if they want to focus on relationships like the book does, they need to include, most aspects of the Tonks/Remus Bill/Fleur Ron/Lavender/Hermione Ginny/Dean. it adds to the feel of the book, yes i thought that the book was a bit too much in this respect, but it does continue into the 7th book, and it does make sense to make it so. At xmas in HBP, Ron watches Bill/Fleur to pick up "tips"for his relationship with lavender.

The fact of the matter is that no character should have ever been removed from any of the films. If they want to change the story line then fine but theres no reason they can't have the characters standing in the background of some scenes and possibly mention them.

I know they have the money to bring each actor back for each film and they shouldn't have a problem casting each and every part.

i hope that she'll be in deathly hallows. it's so unfair the movie's story keeps on making the novel different. Sad

you have a very good point, if they weren't so concerned about being a boxoffice hit, then they would spend the money needed to make this movie the best it could be

She was my favourite thing about the fifth film.. This just kills whatever hope I had left for this film. They're cutting out everyone and everything, it's just BS. At least a cameo appearance for Fleur, Dobby etc. whether it's a mention or a very brief role (like Dobby in GoF) would make me happy.
But no, these next few movies are looking disastrous.

Without Fleur in the movie, what are they going to do about the Deathly Hallows? They made the movie in to two parts so that they could stay true to the book. w/o Bill and Fleur, where is Harry etc going to go when they escape from the Malfoys? That was an extremely important part in the book, those who read it know why, and without it, why split the movies into two? I also heard that they are taking out Tonks and Lupin's relationship aswell...

I'm still upset about this.
No Bill/Fleur = a different kind of wedding. I like the tonks/lupin idea..but why would it be at the burrow?
They need it to be at the burrow. and the wedding is very important.
[the deathly hallows symbol shows up! it's because of the attack at the wedding that they leave! Harry learns a lot about Dumbledore's past from Dodge and Muriel!]

Its' OK as long as she plays a part in the 7th. Nothing is stopping them from mentioning Fleur and Bill being together, just not them being in the film. As long as we have her for the wedding/shell cottage etc. we should be fine.

My general opinion about these things is: I wish they would stop half-assing things and taking cheap ways out of it.
No Dobby, no Fleur.. come on. Get them in there or I will maul you David Yates along with the rest of us Dobby/Fleur fans.
