i know.. snape is certaily more popular than james...
i just wish i could give that guy a hug.. he looks like he needs one. him and voldie... all they ever wanted was a hug... but nobody was there to hug them.. so they turned bitter, and in the case of voldie... evil

| I definitely think Severus and Lilly should have ended up together because Snape's love seemed, well deeper than James's and Snape probably would have been a better person. |

mmm i dont think snape would've been good for her, he was obsessed with the dark arts after all and if he joined the DE he obviously wasnt a very good person
besides, we really dont know much about james, for all we know he may have loved her more than snape did
he probably loved her just as much as snape did, but i understand you feel sorry for snape, because his is a tragic love

I love Snape, but not for Lily. I think their personalities just clashed too much. Even if you took Snape's stint with the Death Eaters out of the equation, I think they'd have just hurt each other.
Snape would require a very very patient spouse

I feel bad for him a little, but not enough to throw him a pity-party. The thing is, not everyone gets what they want in life. And because he didn't get what he wanted he took it out on Harry. To me, that just shows how immature Snape is as an adult.

I know, yes. Life isn`t fear and blah, but just the way he was living - greasy hair, dark, gloomy rooms, potions and dead cockroaches in jars everywhere. It makes me think he was a bit mental after all what happened to Lily.

lol as usual with snape, we agree
yes, of course, who wouldnt feel sorry for snape? unrequited love is always sad and its even worse cause he never got to be really happy, he had quite a miserable life, reason why i can never hate him, the pain he goes through out his whole life is enough to prevent me from that
and just as black said, he probably didnt let himself love anyone else like he loved lily because he felt or would've felt guilty, he didnt seem to actually want to be happy
but, again of course, i can never really forgive him for what he put harry through, the things he did and said to harry, which he didnt have the right to say or do, will never let me really like him and it certainly doesnt show much matureness or moral on his part
