Was I the only one who thought the ending of CoS was really uncomfortable? First there was the Ron/Hermione thing, which was piled on way, way too much. Then the music got uncomfortably corny. The children looked very unnatural when the exams were canceled (look at the ones closest to the dais). I almost died from the awkwardness of Harry hugging Hagrid and the subsequent applause, especially Harry's and McGonagall's facial expressions.

lol yeah exactly... he was hugging hagrid for like 5 minutes and you could tell everyone was thinking 'gay'. and when everyone got up and started shaking hands i son't think half of them liked him or knew who he was

What are you talking about? Everyone loves a group hug! The ending wasn't at all sappy.

I'm lying. I liked the hug thing, I thought it was cute. But as far as the hug goes... a million ways to end a movie and they go with a group hug and cheering? Columbus promised he wouldn't be too sappy and he broke his word. Plain and simple.

Hagrid has been seen as the idiot who opened the CoS and got expelled and this was his righteous ending. I thought the ending was great and I love the music by John Williams at the end of the first two films.

Haha!!! To be honest, I love the ending... it was very sweet and I cried when everyone was cheering.

"There's no Hogwarts without you Hagrid". Sounds corny and all, but I love it.

I dont know. I thought the ending was kinda corny. It wasnt that great.

I thought it was kinda weird when Harry started hugging Hagrid and everyone else did. And than Harry has this unforgivable look on his face which everyone was thinking 'Corny.'

I dont know. I just didnt like it I suppose.
