I don't think she should have died, but if i had to pick someone it should have been Neville. How could Molly Weasley kill her? When did she learn how to fight?
I really didn't want her to die but she had to. She was too evil. However, the whole Molly thing was ridiculous. Am I supposed to believe that a woman who has done nothing but knit and cook for the past 15 yeras or more suddenly turns into a super duelist? And no, being an angry mother isn't enough. Despite what JKR thinks just being a mother doesn't qualify you to be able to do anything. Besides, it was Ginny who attacked Bella. That girl is just too arrogant for her own good.
Neville is another incompetent so I really don't know. Probably some Auror should have killed her.
Rofl. She would've probably continued DEs if she had survived. It's good Molly killed her. But it would've been nice if Neville did it, too. But Molly seems so... Tame? It's good she got some hardcore action.
She was defending her daughter, and it gives her a chance to show that she is a really powerful witch, not just a mother. It really brings out her character. She is NOT just a mother, she was a Gryffindor and is in the Order. This shows her to be the great witch she truly is. NOT just a mother who cooks. Also, the fight of the two leading women is good, IMO.
Ah, Neville should have done it. But imagine it... Neville, against Bellatrix... it's actually funny. Bellatrix is described as being a witch of immense power and being totally emotionless (which we all know is wrong, Mrs-I-Luv-U-Snakehead is a pure emo ) and Neville is well...
I don't deny he is brave, and he gets a nice credit which makes me admire him when he slays the snake, but Neville, guys, is an average 17-year old wizard who, despite his bravery, is still not powerful enough to defeat Voldemort's right hand.
But in general...
BELLATRIX SHOULD HAVE NOT DIED, MOLLY YOU STINK. _________________ Fact 1: Moody rocks your socks. And mine too.
Fact 2: Ron rocks everyone's socks. Except Dobby's.
Fact 3: Harry and Hermione are not meant to be together. :'< Stop the myth-spreading.
Fact 4: Snape > James.
Fact 5: Grindelwald > Voldemort.
the reason JKR choose Molly to kill Bellatrix was due to the fact that she was so under-rated in the books, just because she devotes her whole time to looking after her family, doesn't mean that she couldn't fight.
In my opinion, the reason i think JKR had Molly so protective of her children being in the order was because she never wanted them to see these things, If I saw my mother kill somebody, it would be horrible to see your mother become a killer, even if it was to protect those you loved! _________________ Member #3 of the "David Yates has no direction for the Potter films and should therefore be stoned" club!
It would only have been fair for neville to do it - after all his parents both suffered at the hand of bellatrix
Bellatrix messed with a lot of people's lives, not just Neville's. Bellatrix went afer Ginny and taunted Molly about Fred. Bellatrix also went after Hermione and had Ron and Harry not escaped, she might have ended up in St. Mungo's, too. It would have been fair for anyone to have killed Bellatrix, but JKR chose Molly. _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre
I like the choice of Molly because they're the same age, really.
While Neville would have also made a good choice, remember that his magical skills aren't that great. If it had been realistic between the two of them, then he would have died. No doubt about it. Molly is probably the only one who would have been a decent rival. Molly is at least the same age, possibly older. Bellatrix is Voldemort's general for a reason. A very good one. She's very powerful. Harry was only able to defeat the Dark Lord because the Elder Wand was his, even though Voldemort had it. It's a matter of skill level.
neville should have done it! she attacked his parents! death to bellatrix!
But she also attacked Ginny. Go Molly!
but ginny got out of it intact, neville deserved it far more
She got out of it intact because her mother stepped up and intervened. Had Molly not gotten there in time, Ginny might have ended up the same or worse than Neville's parents. To say that Neville deserved it more than Molly is absurd because Bellatrix hurt and destroyed many people throughout her years. If you take everyone that her actions effected, then you'd have a pretty damn long list. How can you pick and choose who deserved it more than someone else? You can't death, permanent physical imjury, families torn apart... you can't sit and choose who was effected more. JKR based her decision on the fact hat she wanted to show that Molly is more than just a wife and mom. She was both of those things and the passion she derived from that was strong and she was willing to die for it. Neville was effected by Bellatrix, sure, but so was many, many other witches and wizards. Who's to say who deserved it more? Neville got revenge by standing up to both Bellatrix and Voldemort and killing Nagini, effectively destroying a Horcrux. Everyone played an important role in DH, that was Neville's. Killing Bellatrix was Molly's. Both parts were important, equally so. _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre
^ On top of that, Bellatrix didn't torture the Longbottoms into madness alone. She had others -- including her husband -- helping her. She just gets all of the credit since she is the one who had contact with Neville throughout the books. _________________

i think its really good molly killed her because it was sort of unexpected. Bellatrix hadn't killed anyone directly related to Molly but she has affected everyone she knows. and i think she represents the whole order of the pheonix...
haha
dont no if that makes sense
