close, but not quite. See, ling is a suffix . . . It gets added toa word to transform it. We are look for a whole different word that can work by itself, but also makes sense next to the previous word. ling is a word, but in this case, it's just a suffix. We're making compound words, not words with suffixes. I keep thinking of suffixes in my mind before I come up with any words, myself.
