possibly the best anime ever done

its absolutely amazing, very interesting, very complex and done in a very intelligent way

well its a very complex story, be prepared for something deep lol

its very difficult to explain, it combines fights with big robots (excellent action) with other deep stuff and there's a big plot in it, trust me, you'll like it

i dotn think this anime is as great as everyone says. i didnt even like it all that much.

I watched a couple of episodes, but it bored me. Giant Mecha animes are slightly overdone in my opinion.

It was beautifully animated, either way. (:

I did. I watched some episodes, but it just couldn't keep me entertained. I already know how it ends. Someone spoiled it for me when I gave the dvd back to them. If it will make you happy I'll try to pick it up again. >.>

but no, if you dont like that type of anime, with so much existential debate, misery and stuff like that, then u really dont have to watch it

my sister once said something that i thought really wise "for ugly and misery there's life, i wanna watch happy shows with pretty people in it!" even though i like drama i totally got her point Laughing

sorry, but im 19 now and i had my anime obsession when i was about 13 to 15, so i mostly like the old shows like this one and havent seen the new ones

Even now there are some shows are new but brilliant. I suggest Hunter x Hunter or Princess Tutu(ignore the name. It's a beautiful story.)

Shinji was a mega fag, Asuka was a bitch, and Rei was cute in a "she's totally a slut but is just shy on the outside" way, even though she was mass produced to pilot EVAs.

Also, the ending sucked so much ass, the anime creator got death threats if he didn't fix it. He made several attempts to rectify that mistake, but fans are not happy.

There's currently something called Evangelion+ in the works, if I'm not mistaken. Or something like that. They're recreating the series with better animation and more rivteing scens and shit.

I remember getting into NGE for a while, but that ending soured it for me.

I watched the first few eps I coudlnt get too into it but the animation is very nice
