To start with, all James Bond movies. They're too imperialist, and give a world vision that is false. They're always stiring up the hate to USA enemies: russian, chinese, northcorean. Of course, american are the good.
Then, some Spielberg films like Band of Brothers.

The bond movies are amazing.
Get over it. There has to be a protagonist and antagonist, even if it means having a little propaganda.
That should have nothing to do with the quality of the film.

and Besides, even if they are false... THEY'RE JUST MOVIES.

they never once say it was based on a true story.

and Bond is British. Not American.

Plan 9 From Outer Space. I'm not sure whether or not it still holds the title as worst.

How about anything made by Uwe Boll Laughing

Yes, OO7 movies are just movies. We have to pay attention to this in a country where people spend all their free time watching TV. And British and American are the same. British are always obeying what Americans command. And it isn't true movies need protagonists and antagonists, this is a trait of Hollywood movies. The best movies have other sight.
There are several bad movies from USA, they seem to be commited to do it. For instance here, in a TV signal, are always beaming a movie of a woman and her daughter, who has an Iranian husband. The Iranians are bad, Islam is an evil religion and the film ends up with the main character feeling relieved by seeing an American flag. Sickening propaganda.
Anything else?

The formula for any story need a protagonist or antagonist. even if it isn't in a human form. I.e. Cancer, animal, AIDS, sickness's and other things..

Americans and the British aren't the same.

You also act like America and England are teh only two places with propaganda movies.

Iran has films against us, i bet the Chinese and Koreans do too.
In World War II Hitler fed propaganda films to Germany against The Allies.

As Mike said, the Bond movies are British and have nothing to do with America being good or bad.

Every story needs a protagonist and antagonist. Movies and books.

Hahaha, I heard Kate and Leopold had to be redone right before it was released... the original ending had some form of incest, something like she was her own grandmother or something. When they showed the first version to a test audience, they were like, wtf? So they had to redo the ending.

I first heard about this on some sort of special on tv, but it says something about it here...

It was the stupidest move I have ever had the misfortune of watching 10 minuets of.. But.. To each their own.. I'm sure you guys have movies that I thought was good but you thought was horrible.

Michael: at first glance your idea of a necessary protagonist-antagonist seemed to me as lousy. Then you added could be a variety of shapes for this elements. I confess I was forced to agree.
Nevertheless, I have reflexed and looked for examples against your idea. And there's a wide and rich ofer of stories (not only in cinema) which rely on the absence of a protagonist and antagonist.
The author must give the characters or events a moral environment in order to justify or blame their actions. In consequence, the reader or watcher chooses a side and sticks up for that character.
But there are works that leave you astonished and don't allow you to feel comfortable in one side. Perhaps because there aren't differences between both sides.
Independent movies, for instance, deal with that challenge. They stage complex arguments, and don't need, as american films, protagonist-antagonist so that the watcher accept an idea.

No. The Character going through the event would be the Protagonist. The Antagonist would be the moral dilemma. Such as Man Vs Self, man Vs Nature, man Vs Man, etc, so on and so forth.
The one that you choose to stick up for can then be interpreted as the antagonist all depending on your stance.
