Game Franchises Overkilled
Destroy All Humans! games are getting on my nerves
They definately overkilled on those Mario Party games
Guitar Hero is DEFINATELY OVERKILLED
Sick and freaking tired of those rehashed Tony Hawk games
Crappy sports games
Prince of Persia Games (After Sands of Time, it went downhill)
More Tom Clancy games...........yay

rock band is another one. my bf got it and they wont stop playing it... i now wish they would go back to halo...
pretty sad when its just the first release of the franchise and theyve killed it lol... plus hey already had guitar hero...

Yea dont think any of those games are overkill, final fantasy is on like 14 lol everyone still loves them. If people are going to buy buy buy then make make make. Dont make a thread when you are against games that your terrible at.

It is true though that every game, no matter how good, eventually gets overkilled. Like, maybe three games at the most for a franchie is great but when you start dragging it out, it just becomes a joke. Like, right now Call of Duty and Devil May Cry are great and all but if they start goin up to call of duty 6 and Devil may Cry 10...well it won't be pretty. The only game I agree is DEFINETALY an overkill is Tony Hawks. Thank god for the new game, Skate to replace it

I agree with you on a few overkills, such as Destroy All Humans!, the Mario Parties (Isn't the newest one Mario Party 23 1/2.  ), and the Tony Hawk games.
I know everyone has their opinions and such, but I mean come on. How can you get bored of sport games, Tom Clancy games, Call of Duty games, or Guitar Hero? Come on give it a break.
And I agree with ninja, you probably suck at Guitar Hero.

Haha. My dad plays on expert, but I'm still stuck on Medium because I don't have the coordination to hit any more than three buttons. :/

I like guitar hero cause it has songs for guitar
WOw tony hawk games, i've never wasted my time on anything more then these game... too easy, too annoying,
mario Parties are still good but i think it was #5 or 4 for wii that was a horrible version
I don't really appreciate anything about Call of Duty, never liked it, never will ( I play counterstrike so... if you know where i am coming at)
I Think final fantasy will drop, unless they come up with something really just amazing that would put down all it's old games
Sports games won't die alot since sports are still big and they update on newsest stats, So i am thinking they'll stickin excpecially with new graphics on games like NBA08 on PS3 wow!
Halo... yah i said it, but I don't mean halo 4, I'm talking when they hit halo 6, I really am sick of them any way but ( I play counterstrike, sue me
Spyro was overkilled, I thought they stopped making those games... |

I disagree with these two. GH and Rock band are always getting better.
Adding new instruments and upping the skill level.
granted though, it's kinda doing what madden and every other sports game is doing. But i think after GH 4, then they need to stop.
and DMC, too amazing.
Halo,Madden, tony hawk games and a few more are killing games.
and A lot of nintendo's franchises.
And BTW, Final fantasy is probably the best series i've ever played. XIII and XIIIvs is going to take it to a whole new level.

I think it's stupid the new Guitar hero is going to have other playable instruments. It totally defeats the purpose of "Guitar hero". So, even thought it's fun, it's being over killed.
Resident Evil is even more of an over kill. How many systems is Capcom going to port the friggin remake, zero and 4 too?

Yeah but do you know teh story behind it?
The idea for rock band was originally for guitar hero. then before it could be put out, activision basically raped quitar hero for all it was worth and harmoniqs put out rock band. So activision got all the original ideas for what guitar hero was to have and then used it for 4.

They should be overkills but some people messed up out there
Halo-Lot's of people enjoy playing countless hours of this (I know alot of ppl like this)
Grand Theft Auto- Lots of 10-12 year olds playing, I end up hating half of these kids cause they are douche bags
