Family since Simpsons is getting old and doesn't have comedic touch in that show, but i would say Simpsons is the first on my list if there was no Family Guy

i do love family guy but i love the simpsons more.
while family guy is funny it's not as clever as the simpsons. it's just random jokes that don't really have anything to do with the plot line, where as the jokes on the simpsons are alot more witty and thought out.
but i do love family guy.

| B0th shows are funny..But my vote had to go with The Simpsons because or course there a classic and I really do find them funnier than Family Guy. Family Guy is pretty funny though, but sometimes its really stupid! |

I voted The Simpsons, because the older episodes were awesome. But now it seems they're trying to take that whole "Family Guy" thing (random jokes) into the show, and it doesn't work well (IMO). They probably think they're losing fans to FG and want to try the same formula. It works better with the characters in Family Guy.
But I still like both shows.

I grew up with the Simpsons, and I feel that most of the jokes Family Guy has are bland.

It's hard for me to vote. I grew up watching the simpsons but it kinda changed a lot. The animation, voices, etc. Family guy is really hilarious and I love it but I don't think I could choose. They're both great.

Family guy. A common argument I hear is that the Simpsons use more intelligent jokes, but while that may be true at times, I think the presentation is horrible.
