I agree, I don't think he had his own family. It seemed like he just ran away and became great, didn't it? After his sister died, that is.
Yes, I think he saw Harry as a grandson. Remember how in DH, when Hermione kept saying "He loved you Harry." He did. Hermione's hardly ever wrong, remember?

well dumbledore being doesnt mean.. he used to speak or walk like gays..
or he wore those bright coloured clothes or was sissy..
he was simply emotinally involved with someone from the same sex he belonged to..
i definately dont look at him..like usually the gays are potrayed...
its just that he could not stop himself falling for grindlewald... and it was nthing physical... but just emotional..
