How come so few people went with harry to the department of mysteries when there were tons of DA members. Wouldnt you want more people with you when youre fighting voldemort?

harry didnt want to risk more lives, remember that he didnt even want to take neville, luna and ginny
also it had to be fast cause they had to save sirius and i dont think there were enough threstals to take all the DA anyway
neville, luna and ginny were the ones who sort of stayed true to the DA

Obviously, you're not listening. He. didn't. want. to. take. anyone. He only took the others along, because they wouldn't take no for an answer. He didn't even want Ron and Hermione to come along. It even says in the book that of all of the members of the DA, Ginny, Luna, and Nevilla would be the last ones that he would ask along on a dangerous trip. Besides, they all did a really good job.

Maybe Harry didnt want to take anyone else because he thought that they would try and turn him in to the ministry if they met sirius
