I hope they aren't taken out or changed. They leave deaths in children's movies often.
I wonder what they will do with Dobby. The poor little guy has been left out of the last two films and so far I haven't heard of him being in HBP, either. _________________

Unimportant, like Dobby! Stupid film makers. WE think he's important. Isn't that enough for them? _________________

The funny thing is, they really don't know what our opinion is, probably. They need to listen to us. _________________

Ohhh, I really hope none! But I have to say, things aren't looking so good for Colin and Dobby.
As far as other deaths go... I dunno. I think they all have a chance of being left in. Both of the actors who play Wormtail and Moody have confirmed they'll be returning. So I guess if they are going to be in the films, they might as well get killed off, lol. I hope they don't sugarcoat it for the kids. _________________

It was rated pg13, which just means parental guidance is suggested for those under 13.

DH is way more violent, so it'll be interesting to see how they handle it. I mean, the deaths themselves are way more violent. _________________

well i dont think they'll cut scenes to make the book apropiate for children, they will cut stuff that they think is unimportant, which to us is very important, thats obvious
but besides those two deaths i dont think they'll leave any other out _________________

I don't think they'll cut out anymore than those. At least, I hope they don't.
And I agree with you, I don't think they will cut things out to make things non-violent, but I think they will make some adjustments... not sure how, though. _________________

none of the deaths can be cut from the film as they all feature heavily on Harry's progression through the book!
Charity Burbage - is mentioned by arthur weasley as missing, i feel this shows that nobody who opposes voldemorts ways is safe.
Hedwig - The loss of harry's innocence symbolism.
Mad-eye - the consumate survivor, nobody thought he could possibly be dead, also reminds the trio of practising CONSTANT VIGILANCE!
Dobby - helped the trio and co escape Malfoy Manor, paid with his life cannot be held in a higher esteem.
Tonks and Lupin - shows Harry that he needs to be there for teddy and makes harry realise he couldnt have helped anyone's deaths
Snape - makes voldemort beleive he is the master of the elder wand, also shows that snape was dumbledores man through and through.
Colin - shows Harry the strength of his friends, that he could have got help from them at anytime.
Fred - didn't really need to die but JKR had to kill a weasley, come on there are so may of them. also shows Harry the importance of family and as he classes the weasley's as his family, notices how Molly goes to protect them. _________________ Member #3 of the "David Yates has no direction for the Potter films and should therefore be stoned" club!

I know... I think think it's be interesting if they keep in Charity and leave out Dobby and Colin. And when I said "interesting" I mean to say messed up and wrong. _________________

i think that if that scene goes in then her death is going to be there too, its really exciting (i know in a bad way) a death so early on the film and it would really show how things are in the wizarding world at the moment _________________

dobby has to be in the last movie. he has to help with kreacher and get kidnapped and save olivander and dean and stuff. so he will have to be in there so he will have to be killed.
they might cut out deaths like
because they dont really go into detail with them but if they do i will cry anyway! _________________

thats what i was thinking. i mean if it wasnt for dobby they would not of escaped from malfoy manor. so i dont know how they can not include that, or even work another senario in place of it. . . and if they have to have dobby in it for those scenes. then he should be killed.
remember they are making it into 2 movies. to try to keep it as close to the book as possible. so if they cut major peoples deaths out with the amount of movie time they have. it would be soooo unacceptable. it would cause a huge uproar..!
i shall personally see to their demise. lol. _________________

It was George's ear.
I believe this thread was started before that news was announced, so they mean parts 1 and 2. _________________

I hope they don't forget about Dobby.
They left him (and all elves) out of GoF though... the movies ruin the books.
