Hey, everyone. Well I was thinking this over last night and I thought of something. Did anyone think that Hagrid was going to die? I dont know. Before I read DH I really felt like Hagrid would be one of the deaths. Did anyone else feel this way?

Yeah, me to. But I just really thought he would have died though, I mean he was a big character and I just really thought he would be the one who would have gotten killed.

Honestly . . . I think I pictured every one dying before DH.

i remembered reading an article somehwere when JKR's sister/friend (can remember which) said she'd never speak to her again if she killed off hagrid. though the ambush by the death eaters at the end i actually thought he was dead especially when you see the title of the next chapter straight away i was like NOOOOOO! thank god for that woman hey!

i thought he was going to die. all throughout deathly hallows i was just waiting for it to happen, even though i didn't want it to.

but he almost died like so many times in that book!

Yeah, I was actually kinda hoping he would die. I mean, He is a BIG character. And It would twist the plot a little more if he did die.

I don't know why but i thought that since Hagrid was half giant I thought he had an immunity from the Killing Curse so...yeah!

Same i thought he would because he was a great character who was well known but i was glad when he didnt get killed

Well,
I did think he would die after all the other characters (such as; Lupin, Tonks, Dobby, Snape, Fred and others) all died so suddenly and so easily. I was sarting to think that JK was killing them of to suddenly and there didn't seem to be any signs of them dying after (a funeral or something). So for that reason i thought hagrid could have died Crying

I thought both Giants and Wizards had a bigger lifespan then humans. If that's the case, I could see Hagrid living much longer then most wizards.

I was sure he wouldn't die at the beginning, but I questioned his life throughout the book from then on.

I thought she would kill him off like she killed off some other loved characters like Fred, Dobby etc
