Is there anyone in the books with the last name Thompson?i know there is Dean Thomas but i was wondering about Thompson.

No, there is no one in the books named Thompson.
Although, there is an actress in the movies named Thompson, Emma Thompson,, who plays Prof Trelawney.

awww thank you!!!! thats a huge help
i wanted to know because i'm a but rubbush at last names and in a fanfic if i write 'Daniel Thompson,' and then there is someone else called thompson it might cause confusion and people would ask if they are related and stuff like that
