Why was voldy in slytherin.. ?
Didnt it say that only pure bloods where aloud in slytherin.. ?
And voldy was a half-blood. So how can he be in slytherin.. ?
I dont get it.

not just EVIl... he was ambitious.. he had something to actually do.. which he could not in those walls of orphanage.. and here people appretiated his worth.. as he was made head boy aswell...
anyway... not to forget he was the decendent of salaazar slytherin himself.. and i his ansistors..those who attended hogwarts must have been in slytherin only..
and just like snape... he was a half blood..but still in slytherin... by his personal traits and preference..

or rather, non purebloods, tend not to be there
why wouldnt voldy have been in slytherin is a better question, his half blood heritage is the only reason why he wouldnt have fit there, then he had all the characteristics slytherins should have

I think the sorting hat could just tell that his mind worked the way someone from Slytherin's would have been. Just because your a pureblood doesn't mean you belong in Slytherin house. Look at the Weasley's.

but voldy was in slytherin
and salazar started the one being selective.

You don't have to be a pureblood to be in Slytherin. Snape wasn't a pureblood, either. Voldemort valued power, which was a trait that Slytherin valued. Also, he was cunning. Voldemort also valued the pureblood trait, probably wished he was one himself.

he hid it from his followers that he wasn't. bellatrix was shocked when harry told her in ootp. I doubt godric would let his hat be made to gauge such things as blood status in the students.

i dont think she didnt know, i think she was just as mad as if harry had spoken his real name, it was one of those things that no one ever mentioned, never dared to bring up

I wonder what was going through the rest of there minds (the rest being the people that harry was with) they worry probably scared that he was going to get them killed just by saying that
