After HBP, I absolutely knew that Harry must be one of the horcruxes. He must die. When I read that part they kissed, I still didn't know Harry could return from death, so it would possibly be their last kiss. Harry probably would die without anyone beside him, especially without Ginny, that's why Rowling wrote Ginny wanted him to have something to remember her, so that's the kiss Harry would take it with him to the death.
And just as I expect, Harry could not think of anyone when he met his end, except Ginny, her blazing look, and the feel of her lips on his-
So that's the MAGIC of the kiss.
For Ron and Hermione's kiss....
oh, come on guys, do you realized that it's towards the end of the book? In case you didn't notice, HARRY IS GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(or maybe you guys never think of the possibility that Harry is a horcrux and he must die, either by killing himself or he would let anybody do it. You believe the leading role will never die? That's why you didn't worry a bit!!!!! And you still have a good mood to enjoy someone's kiss.
Or your heart is made of stone, anyone's dying can just give you a good laugh!!!!!!!!!)
How about you are dying on your death bed and all your parents seem to care for and enjoy is seeing people kissing on TV?
I really couldn't believe what I can see here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To me Harry and Ginny's first kiss was more fairytale while Ron and Hermione's kiss was more real.
Ya have Harry and Ginny with their many sunlit days... they ignore everyone in the room, without care, they let their pretenses fall. It's just them... he had no idea if she still cares for him. She has no idea if she has a chance with him... She had just beaten his ex-girlfriend at Quidditch by catching the snitch right from under her. And she just threw herself into his arms and he took a huge risk.
Ron and Hermione... they have liked each other for awhile, it was all there. He knew, she knew... but neither wanted to be the first to put their heart on the line. Because that leads to vulnerability and hurt feelings, which both had experienced and didn't want to go through. Especially when their friendship is at stake. But when Hermione hears Ron talk about the House-elves, and this time it isn't a line he got from a stupid book his brothers gave him... she drops everything and goes for it.
Both kisses were very sudden... and you did get the idea that maybe both people involved expected it... but at the same time, one lasted for several sunlit days while the other was swept off their feet. It is very hard to decide which kiss was better.

I'd have to say Ron/Hermione. As they have never kissed before and when they did kiss that really meant that they where together. All though we all really knew they would be together after all.
Why can't we choose Ron and Lavender. They were really hot and... well, you know... very naughty!!!!! Can't stop my face blushing.
I wonder HBP would be rated because of it. I guess there must be many girls longing to see and they sure will give applause and cheering when it comes out. Can't wait to see it! wwwwooooooooo

hmm really the best over all kiss in the whole series was the h/g kiss in DH! anyone agree w/ me?
cause like it wasnt a normal kiss. it wasnt an ordinary goodnight kiss or impulsive kiss it was a "remember me" kiss. it was the most described kiss ever. ginny put all of her unsaid words into that kiss. which included "remember me - ill miss you- " ect.
so in my opinion.
BEST. FREAKING. KISS. EVER. HANDSDOWN. NO COMPETTITON. _________________

Honestly, I don't believe that Hermione's kiss to Ron was their first.
Herminone made up with Ron when he returned. They didn't see each other for months. They missed each other much. They both nearly died after they separated and they talked about it.
Then Harry left intentionally( obviously he didn't want to be the third wheel). They were alone in the tent.
Hey, guys what would you do if you were R/H?
You wouldn't mind kissing a little bit, would you? It would be very romantic.
It's just that Harry didn't see it so Rowling didn't put any effort to describe it!!!!!!! She's totally absorbed in describing Harry's lonely feeling.

Fomy: What did you feel when you finally wrote the kiss, awaited so much by the fans, of ron and hermione
J.K. Rowling: I loved writing it, and I loved the fact that Hermione took the initiative! Ron had finally got SPEW and earned himself a snog! _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre

Well, she just said she finally wrote it and H took the initiative. She didn't mention this was their first time or not.
If she really didn't picture them having a bit kissing after reunion, then I have a question here, did R and H find each other sex appealing?
It's really odd, sounds like they wanted to live like brother and sister. It looks like H wanted to have a sexless... or platonic relationship with Ron.

They didn't kiss right after their ruinion. She hit him, remember? She was angry. She hesitated on her love for him when he first returned because she didn't feel he was mature enough, yet, to start a real relationship with. _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre

Great mum, Hermione, awaited a child to grow up! Sigh!!!!!!!
Ron and Hermione's kiss was better. Harry and Ginny's kiss, in my opinion, wasn't very believable. _________________ Bery Kayla Shay Ash

When Harry and Ginny happened, I was ecstatic! That was one of my favorite moments in the series. However, I also loved Ron & Hermione's kiss, and how he finally stuck up for the house-elves. I also liked Harry and Ginny's kiss in DH, almost as much as the one in HBP. I think they were both wonderful, though I voted for H/G.

are you suggesting mothers wait until their children to grow up to start a relationship with them? that could be taken wrong...but in any case its not true. so your comparison does not work.
and I think it was their first kiss because ron was taken by such surprise and they really got into it at a time where I don't think any kiss but a first kiss could do that. its because that urge had never come to realization before. if they'd already been kissing she would have just pecked him on the cheek or something. _________________ They say home is where the heart is, so your real home's in your chest. --Captain Hammer
Honestly, I really think Lav Lav and Ron Ron's first kiss was much better than Her/Ron.
1. L/R's was much hotter and more passionate. (Wow, the movie maybe get rated by this.)
2. L/R wanted to kiss because they liked each other. They found each other attractive instead of other factors. At least they were true to their own feeling, true to themselves.
3. Why hadn't Her/Ron ever kissed when they were alone?
For instance, in summer while Harry was in Dursley, in the tent when they were talking behind Harry's back, in Grimmauld Place when Harry was in Sirius's room. They were so unrealistic and unbelievable. Were they really romantically involved? Did it hurt if they kiss a bit in the morning, or before they went out to nick a copy of daily prophet? I really can't imagine how they were able to maintain this. They must have joined some classes offered by Christian Church and took the vow of chastity.
4. I can't admire Her/Ron's kiss in DH because it keeps reminding me another kiss in X-files. There was one episode Agent Scully knew her partner Mulder was in danger. She was desperated, so she turned to their old boss and begged for help. Her boss risked everything to help her. He gave her some crucial information. Scully felt extremely grateful and got exhilarated, she kissed her boss on his lips passionately...
Her/Ron's kiss looked like this type. It seems like Hermione values elves more than Ron!
Sorry!!!!!! I just can't help feeling this way. How can I forget that episode of X-files? It's imprinted on my mind!
