Hai Lin was walking down to the lake.She saw a few rocks over to the left and she decided to inspect them,She clamered over them and then she gasped....A beautiful pool of pure blue water was hidden away by rocks.Hai looked in to it and she thought It's so pretty,Maybe I'll go for a swim..She took off her robes and dived in,As soon as she popped her head up again she noticed strange sparkles were surrounding her....Then she stifled a scream her two legs had been replaced by a long slender fish tail......"I--I'm a Mermaid!" She said to herself she was now wearing a bikini top with fish scales on it and her beautiful tail was moving elegantly.....Soon she dragged herself to the rocks and sat on them with a sudden blast of blue light from her body she was back to wearing her robes....Hmmm It must only appear when I touch waterShe thought to herself....I hope no body saw.......

Cedric Diggory was taking a stroll around Hogwarts for once. He finally got to go out of the Castle without anyone following him. He walked around outside and spotted Hai by a Rock a pool of water. He walked over to where she was,"Hey, Hai." he said looking at her.

Cedric fell back onto the ground, He than got back up,"Woah! A Mermaid! Your a Mermaid, Hai! No way!" he said looking at the tail.

Cedric stared at the tail for a minute than he looked at Hai,"How are you a Mer-Maid?" he asked as he looked at the tail.

"The pool.." Hai said pointing to it.Then she looked confused."But it was all sparkly when the moon was out! Now it looks like the lake's water!"

Hai nodded then looked up at the full moon....Suddenly she jumped back into the water and started giggling acting very strange...

Cedric fell into the water and hit the bottum of the pool with a thud. He than swam up to the top of the water to take a breathe,"WHat was that for!?" he shouted as he looked at her.

Ginevra was in a distance watching Cedric and Hai, gloomly. She hadn't been feeling good latley and she was shocked to see when Hai turned into a mermaid. She had never told her that secret.

Hai looked over and saw Ginevra! She was about to cover her tail when she saw the moon pool bubble with sparkles again! She looked up to see Ginevra dive in!

Ginevra dived into the pool her human body no longet human. She now had the magnificent body of a mermaid. The scales on her tail were blue and pink, since Ginevra's scales changed color with her moods she knew that this mean't she was sad but she was also happy about something.

"Glad you like it." Ginevra said, smiling slightly as she saw her best friend smile with excitment. "I have been a mermaid for a long time. Your the only person who knows what I am."
